but still scared one of the guys to death!Came up behind him to get to the shower and scared him.Been a few years since I've made a man move that fast ;)They got 4 windows in then had to stop for rain. Would have been nice if the windows would have been in one or two rooms but they were spread out over 4 rooms! So no room is finished.

I went out for a run in the rain because they were still working.Halfway thru my run I noticed they and DH were on the porch watching me run!!Tomorrow they come back to do the other windows and then they start on the siding. They said they would be here until....

The chickens are going to H#** in a handbasket and being carried out by a bunch of idiot company guys who wouldn't know a chicken if it came up and bit them on the butt. But as you can see I'm dealing with it well.....

Tomorrow new haircut.I am such a wimp.I felt like I was asking too much of my friend to keep doing my hair on her days off.So I told her I would find someone new.Talked to her today and she still wants to do my hair because a)she likes to and b)the extra money helps out.I wimped out and couldn't tell her I have an appt for tomorrow.Guess she'll notice when I see her Wednesday!!I can't cancel other person at this point! How do I get into these messes???

I am definitely going to have to take the therapy up a notch.Dark chocolate just isn't going to cover it any more.Bring on the white wine!!!

Going to try to catch up on posts before I get disconnected again.Missed you guys today. It was just me, scared guys and sick chickens.Hey but one guy might make a good cabana boy.He offered to make lunch for me but that's another story....

I can hear the hysteria in your voice...calm down. Deep breaths. Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Dark chocolate in. Chew, chew, chew.

I, myself, had to have therapy today. Yup. Ate the choc chips right outta the bag. I felt sooooo much better!

At least you got your run in. And 4 windows in. I'm assuming, since you didn't mention it, that none of the guys were hotties. Bu**er.

Hang in there. Hugs!

I want to know why the guy would be offering to make your lunch and how does one kind of qualify for a potential cabana boy! ;-)

As for the haircut, a woman will understand (should, at least) that it was "an emergency" and you just couldn't wait. That's the way I am. Then, when she sees it's already done, there's no way you can have it done again. It's always easier to "beg forgiveness than to ask permission."

When I'm really stressed chocolate and nuts in ice cream really help. Very soothing...

So the day wasn't a total loss! You got in a run, scared the pants off one guy and got a lunch offer from another. All that and you're still above ground. Good day.

The next batch of chickens will be better.

And your friend will understand. You've been friends this long, she'll get it. You can always go back to her next time and say, "Gosh, nobody can do my hair like you can!"

Deep breaths PattyCakes.

Hey, maybe having lunch made by a would-be cabana boy would be adequate therapy, especially if he serves it with that wine you ordered.

Hugs, and hope the rest of your day and week is less stressful.
