Good Morning. I love that new Bath & Body Works line...Pure Simplicity. I use a lot of the Fig products...heavy moisturizing. The Ginger smelled yummy, too.

I feel the need for a good walk on the treadmill. Actually, outside walk sounds heavenly, but it is 20 degrees out and light winds. I let the dogs out and that confirmed the treadmill route this morning. Abs also.

My greatest challenge, which really is no news to anyone but I've been in denial, is FOOD. I need a plan. I need to journal. I need to work on that this week.

Not very chatty this morning. Have a lot on my plate today.

Good Morning,

Winter has arrived. Sunny but cold with a wind chill! Makes walking Otto after dark very interesting and very cold! Workout today was the treadmill and abs. Need to find some dinner ideas for next week so that will be my 15 minute project.

Gotta run...have a few things to take care of before work so I hope all your thoughts are good ones for Thoughtful Thursday! Have a good day!

Good morning!

Another cold one. Brilliant, but ineffective sun. Bitter. Windy. Feel-the-cold-ground-through-your-boot-bottoms cold. Not-enough-gloves-in-the-world cold.

Workout tonight will be stretching and cardio - brisk walking on the treadmill. Maybe more running intervals.

No 15-minute project scheduled. Yesterday's project was successful - I found the fur earmuffs just in time. Maybe I'll Swiffer the hardwood floors instead of waiting for the weekend.

Phyllis, I bought a sample size gift pack of the Pure Simplicity line (the Rice formula)after Christmas and used it yesterday and today. I love the line-concealing gel (an eyelift in a bottle), the face cleanser, and the moisturizer. My skin looks different after just two days - wonder what it'll look and feel like in a week. Maybe now when I tell people I'm 33, they'll really believe it. I've been using the Shea It Isn't So foot cream for a while now - I think it's a miracle product.

Have a toasty day, everyone!

Good morning. Got up with a pounding head today and the guys are here pounding on my house. Not a good combo. The chickens are on their way off the farm and that is a good thing.I'm not too happy with either of the men I had to work with thru this flock.I'm trying to just keep quiet ,let is pass and move on.One day I'll find my golden egg and this will all be behind me.

Not sure about a workout today.I've had alot of running in lately and it may be time for a day off.Hopefully I'll have a new treadmill to test out tomorrow.

I saw where a 57 year old man was pulled out of the earthquake rubble after 13, I think, days. Pretty amazing, huh.Isn't it wonderful that with all the awful things on the news something uplifting comes along.

Donna, how's the cold that was trying to start? You've intrigued me with the face products you've mentioned.Good grief, you could be a teenager by the time we hit NC!!!!

I am so with you Sassy on the food deal. There is my biggest challenge.Well that and trying to get George to call.

Hope everyone has a Thursday filled with good thoughts and some warmth!!Take care.

Miss P

That cold is playing tricks with me. Kinda there, kinda not. Mostly it's a stuffy head and scratchy throat. I'm drowning it in H2O, tea of all colors, oj, green veggies, and Vitamin C. Not high-tech, but it worked last year for me.

A teenager? Hardly, but by next year in NC, I'll be 32.....halfway to sweet 16.....

Thanks for asking about my "cold", and for the teenager compliment. You say the nicest things....

Patty, with all the running you've been doing and the cold weather outside, maybe you should take a day off. Put on some headphones and listen to some good music, get a big mug of tea, and find the calmest place in the house and just sit.

Take care of that headache. Sure wish there was a cure.....
