Tim and I saw "Big Fish" tonight, and it is a really neat, well acted movie. It's funny, sad, entertaining, and has some cool music in it too. It has a lot of fantasy-type scenes in it reminescient of Forrest Gump. We enjoyed it very much.

Even though it was very gory, Rob and his friend said "The Last Samurai" is the best movie they've ever seen, better than the third Lord of the Rings, which is saying a lot for them. I don't care for bloody,

I was thinking about you and Tim going to the movies last night. You're so lucky to 1)have date nights and 2)to get out to the movies. The last movie I got out to see was Ya Ya Sisterhood.I'm trying to get one of my sisters to go see Calendar Girls with me.I thought the previews looked good and then after reading that you all enjoyed I really want to see it.

We just started doing our "date nights" recently, but it's amazing what a difference it makes. It gives us something to look forward to, we have some fun and social activity and something else to talk about, and get away from the cares of running a household for a while.

I hope you can see "Calendar Girls" with your sister. It is good. I'm surprised at how many good movies there've been lately. One coming out soon with "Moose-something" in the title looks really funny and has a bunch of stars in it.

I went to see "Cheaper by the Dozen" with Steve Martin over the weekend. It gave me a few laughs ... especially how the siblings would plot against the older sisters boyfriend.

I know that its possible to have 12 kids ... in fact I know a guy who came from a family of 18 (he was the last birth - twins). I can't imagine having that many kids. They'd have to take me away in a stretcher for sure.
