Good morning!

I was so excited when I woke up this morning knowing that I get to come down to the board and have coffee with my girlfriends.

The opportunities and possibilities we have available to us are endless.

Eye-Opening Tuesday for Sassy. Took several of your suggestions, including Patty's to journal and felt much better. Reading back over the ramblings and exclamation marks made me realize I really needed to get a handle on things! So, today I am.

Heading in to put on my workout clothes in a minute. Then I'm hitting the treadmill. I need to be at church early this morning as we're having some in-house training on Power Church software. I love computer training (used to be a trainer myself) and can't wait to really get going on this new software. Which I am able to use and figure out, but it's always nice to have someone give you some advanced pointers and this guy does church management consulting and our financial side REALLY needs someone from the "outside" to come in and tell them, "you're doing it wrong"! We've been trying and it ain't working.

Today I'm getting my workout in early. I was lying in bed this morning thinking about my day, life, yadda yadda and planned out my food intake for the day. It is amazing to me that someone (me) can still be lying awake at midnight and then be sleepless at 4:00 a.m. I'm going to be a hurting pup this evening and we have a long day happening. And with DH out of town, that means I do it all.

So...let's keep kicking it up a notch, ladies. My cardio has really been below par and it shows on my thighs and I ain't likin' it! Can't wait for Spring, or at least temps in the upper 40's, to get back out pounding the pavement and off the treadmill. I get such a better workout. When you get 1 1/2 miles out...you still have to walk back. On the treadmill you can just turn the machine off!

Hugs, Gurls...

Sassy

Good morning!Another wildly exciting day in chickenville.Have to run uptown and pick up a few things.Looking over my list which includes clearisil and metamucil. What the heck kind of life is this?????Where am I and how did I get here???LOL

I'm hitting the treadmill soon.I may try to do a run this morning and then get a walk in later.I'm really hoping the incline on the treadmill helps what gravity is doing to my backside. It's fallen and can't get up.

Hope everyone has a great day.If you have anything exciting happen post up so I can live thru you.

Good Morning,

No time like the present to get things back in perspective and do the things that need doing. Workout included the treadmill with an added 5 minutes of walk/run and then on to some weights. Nothing too much exciting in this end of the northeast. Headed to work in a few where I've been doing cleaning and purging there too. Washer and dryer have been working double time trying to help get DS lots of clean clothes as he is leaving on Thursday morning for a 10 trip to Acapolco with a friend and his family-can we say Mom is just a bit jealous!!

Hoping all your possibilites for the day are good ones!

KIUANT it is...

Workout will be a Jazzercise class at the south center on their nice cushy floor. I didn't make it to yoga class last night, but I did a nice long yoga tape and really enjoyed it. I like that I don't HAVE to workout, but I GET to workout. Gotta keep that in the front of my brain if I can.

Eating has been horrible. Trying to get a handle on it is like trying to get the laundry done once and for all. Ain't gonna happen. I've tried making a plan. I've tried making small changes. I've tried kicking myself in the butt (almost got a groin pull on that one). I guess I'm going to have to go even smaller with the changes...like eating only 2 pieces of toast instead of 4 with my eggs...sigh...

Today will be a stellar day! Have at it!

Good morning, all!

Phyllis - Thanks for the reminder that I have two healthy legs to stand, walk, and run on and that I CAN work out if I choose to. So I choose to. Kicked-up cardio tonight - 45 minutes at least, with running intervals as I can. Maybe I'll go for an hour; it'll be a game-time decision.

15-minute project? Hmmm - well, those stubborn dust bunnies are back and I should get 'em before they turn into Harvey.

Have a great day, everyone!

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?

Good morning everyone.

I'm finally in the right place to deal with the weight I allowed myself to gain over the holidays. I'm right back to where I was at this time last year. I got the first day of Phase I South Beach tucked under my belt yesterday with no cheating. Dh moved the Stairmaster into the living room (groan) as we have no room anywhere else for it since dd moved home in September. So, I can at least start getting some cardio in again! That's first on my agenda for this morning.

I'm not looking forward to this afternoon. Among other things, last spring dh lent my youngest dd the money to pay her taxes. Her employer did not deduct enough from her cheques. Turns out that she didn't use the money for that at all and her bill is still outstanding! GRRRR!!! When she moved home I asked her what bills were outstanding and nothing was mentioned about her taxes, so I'm now wondering what other bills are out there. That is just one of many "things" that we need to discuss. Wish me luck! And here I was thinking that they would hit there 20s and be responsible!

Good Morning...

I didn't get to read the posts much over the weekend or yesterday so I was craving a bit of board time this morning.
