So...how did your workout go? I did time on the treadmill (I'm back to dreading that thing) including jogging and incline. Then I hopped over to the Smith weight machine and cranked chest work and shoulder work. Food has been good, but not enough of it. I went to the local pizza joint to pick up food for our software training group and didn't get anything for myself. On purpose. I'm eating a yogurt and will head down to the kitchen in a sec to pour a big glass of soy and cut up an apple to eat with some crunchy peanut butter. Thanks, Rhonda, for reminding me about my fave summer snack. It's yummy in winter too!

Crank it up ladies...here we go!

I've had a wonderful day! Always feel better through the day when I get my workout in. I stepped up the time and amount of time running and it felt really good! Eating has been really good. I had only what I brought with me to work and absolutely no reaching into the bag of pretzels, crackers M&M's and the box of cookies that are sitting in the office. I realized today how much I dip in and take a handful of this and that and how easy it is to do. Found a great snack-vanilla Lite and Fit yogart, cut up a couple of strawberries into it and a banana-it was sweet and satisfied me until lunchtime!

So...we KNOW we feel better and have better days when we get our workouts in. We KNOW we feel better and look better when we eat healthy...what's the problem then :)

I got a run in today using the incline, really felt it.Was going to watch tv earlier with a bowl of buttered popcorn but had an apple and hit the weights instead.

The siding guys were a hoot today. My house will probably be done about April at the rate they are going.Today I was on the treadmill and they had to open the door to work on it.They were afraid it was too much cold air on me which was pretty thoughtful. After I got done they were asking how I had the energy to run.During the course of the conversation I made some joke about my age. They said they had been trying to guess my age and they guessed...46!!!!OUCH!!!!!They said they guessed that because they thought I had said I had been married 27 years. So they were doing the math. And when I say doing the math I mean really because they had pencils out and were writing on the side of the house trying to figure out how old I was when I got married!!!!LOL Then they wrote me a note in the door frame which was covered up but they showed it to me first. It said"She's 43 and don't guess any higher!!!!! Signed Siding Guys"

Did 35 min on treadmill, including 5 running minute intervals. Ate well all day - even ate Brussels sprouts for the 2nd time in my adult life - and drank an ocean of water.

A goo day all around....

I LOVE brussel sprouts! Hated them as a kid. Love them now with a little red wine vinegar sprinkled on top. Yummy.

Great workout and get those greens!
