Land's End or LL Bean?

I like Land's End better.

Just wondering.

I prefer thrift stores where I can buy last year's LandsEnd and LL Bean fashions for way cheap. ;-)

I don't believe I've ever had anything from either one so I can't really say. I usually hit Wally World for my fashion statements.

Land's End. L.L. Bean is still a little too lumber-jackish, plus I don't think they cut their women's clothing very generously. Either that, or the stuff I've received from them came from the top of the cut fabric piles rather than the bottom....

I've never ordered anything from LL Bean.

No personal experience, but my dd used to work at the post office and she said that people were always returning LL Bean stuff because it didn't fit right.

Ah-ha. I'm not the only one. That is my gripe with them. AND then they charge you $$ to make returns!

My mom and a friend of mine both love the tops from Land's End. I don't think I've ever ordered from them. I did get some heavy winter things for my daughter when she was in

Right now I like LL Bean best. I love their jeans - different styles for different shapes (slim cut, classic, jeans with a little bit more room at the hips/thigh, etc.) and different denim weight material. I also LOVE their pima cotton t's (soooo soft, always look nice, and you just pop them in the washer and dryer). My new winter/rain coat came from Bean, too!
