Had a good workout...not as much cardio as I would have liked, but I just can't stand that treadmill this week! Bitter cold out so I opted for a mile on the treadmill, lunges, plie squats, biceps, triceps, abs and lat pull-downs. I'm feeling ripped! Now...to focus on food today!

Get moving today, girls!

I got in 20 minutes fo cardio on the Stairmaster. So far I'm up to 7500 steps today. Also did upperbody routine.

Eating has been bang on track! Zucchini Pancakes and ham for breakfast. Miso and shrimp soup for lunch with orange ricotta dessert. Dinner will be grilled burgers with an assortment of salad greens and veggies! Feeling better about my bod already!!!

I walked the dogs about a mile, but with the two of them tugging I got a bit of an upper body workout too. I'm sorry to say I've done so little that I haven't even begun keeping track for the Challenge. If the weather stays like it is this afternoon that will help me get going more. Also, I think I'll try to get in more walking while Rob's at his guitar lesson this evening.

Good for you for getting the walks in.Your yard work and constant motion count too!!I read your posts about this time of year and how it effects you and I know exactly what you mean.I feel like I'm struggling with it sooner than usual this year!!Do you find it harder to have salads in the colder weather?Do you reach for bread more often?I do!!!I'm glad when you post about how the weather and time of year effects you.Helps to know someone else understands how I feel!!!How many days til summer????

Thanks for your encouragement! I'm definitely affected by the weather even when it's just a couple of gray days in the summer. I'm not big on salads in the winter unless they're a Fandango Salad from Panera or a Walnut Gorgonzola from The Loop. They're just too light and cool for cold weather. I want hot, comfort food when it's cold out, and of course, sweets year-round.

Just finished my workout - 30 min/2.3 mi on treadmill (threw in a couple of running intervals to see how I'll feel tomorrow), 30 min Smith machine and free weights, 5 min weighted crunches, and 10 min stretching.

Good eating all day; going to continue in a few minutes with a lighter dinner for me than I planned.

Have fun at chat - I need to eat something, and DH and I will be watching Laura Ingraham duke it out with Susan Estrich on Hannity & Colmes during dinner. We don't do that often. My money's on Laura.
