Soup, salad, fish, chicken, pasta, or burger? Chocolate, pie, cookies, or cake? All of the above? What's on your noon menu today?

Mine is a monster salad (about 3 cups of mixed greens) with oil and vinegar, and a bowl of beef lentil soup. Yum!

Next?

Chocolate, pie, cookies or cake? You just about covered the food groups in my world, Donna! I'm proud of myself for resisting donuts - they are here in the office, but since they're not KK's, I have no trouble resisting. Actually, they are nasty so it wasn't any great feat! I don't know what these people out here use in their pans, but it is very metallic tasting. Gross! I guess I'm blessed to live out here in the land of the culinarily challenged. Not much to tempt one out here in Longview.

No, I guess I'll just have my own monster salad w/chicken & red wine vinagrette & an apple. I had some cheerios w/my ff yogurt for a snack awhile ago.

I've got some shrimp in the fridge, so I'm thinking a bowl of Miso soup and a nice big seafood salad.

There's a big plate of chocolate brownies sitting on the counter that I baked for the boys yesterday. Fortunately, I'm not a huge chocolate fan and in fact the smell of them is rather rich and sickening, so I won't be touching those! No sweets for me.

My DH will be happy to take those brownies off your hands. You've got my address...Trouble is, once they get here, the aroma will haunt ME.

Lunch was a fajita wrap with spicy deli mustard spread on it, lots of greens, a slice of maple honey turkey, a slice of swiss, sliced tomato all rolled up into a tasty wrap. Very tasty! And now to move on past the M&M's that are taunting me!

My dh is doing a pretty good job of downing them too! LOL The problem is, I've already had to go out and get him pants in a large size this fall and if he keeps up at the rate he's going, he'll need a bigger size next fall!!!

Yeah, I was bad today for lunch. I forgot my very good and healthy lunch at home, so I ate in the cafeteria today. Rueben sandwich (took the top off and smushed the two bottoms together to cut out one slice of bread) and 12 skinny french fries with a diet Pepsi. Not great, but I didn't stuff my face and I feel pretty good about making the best of a bad situation. It was either that or a nasty looking meatball sandwich with who knows what kind of meat and plasticy looking cheese. I hate it when I forget my lunch. So another day of good eating bites the dust.
