My sister went to dr yesterday for pap test/yearly check up.She had not gotten her mamogram done yet and DR told her (in a nice way) to get it done or to look for a new dr.I respect that.He also during the exam found a mass and had her at the hospital by the end of the day having a sonogram.I didn't know anything about it til she got home as appointment was in another town.At the hopsital they told her they felt sure it was a fibroid,so hopefully by sometime today we will hear all is ok.Can't help but be worried, especially since Dr acted with such urgency.
15 min.project for today, not sure yet.I unclogged my sink and cleaned both bathroom yesterday which for me is big. Maybe today I'll try to find the vaccum and see what I can do with that.
Workout is uncertain too.Maybe a long run or maybe a step workout. The siding guys surprised me and showed up yesterday.I'll be so glad to not have men outside my windows!!
Phyllis, go ahead and tell Doug a thing or two!!!
Have a fun filled WARM Friday!!
Miss P
Let us know about your sister. Try to find something fun to do today, Princess. Of course there are those who consider their workouts actually "fun". Wish I was one of them on a more regular basis!
Hugs.

FFF, huh? I have major cleaning on my agenda this morning. DH gets home around 11:00 today so I know THAT will be fun...kids will be at school, need I continue????? I am getting a workout in first thing after the kids are gone to school. Then hitting some major cleaning. Only need to spend about an hour at the office finishing up for Sunday, so I might as well make good use of my "free" day. Still haven't cleaned out/organized my home office. Will work on that tomorrow.
That's it for me this morning. Didn't sleep well and I'm really, really tired and found myself just sitting here staring at the screen (or when I wake up I see the screen!).
Hugs.

The boss is out of town the last week of January. Woo-Hoo!
I know you must be worried.

Friday finally! What a long week it's been. I haven't worked a full week in almost a month so it's been kinda weird for me. Weather is supposed to be pretty good today with a slight chance of rain this afternoon.
Today's workout: I hit the Jazzercise pretty hard last night and it was great!!!!! I'm still feeling it in my glutes and my pecs this morning. I upped my weights I use in class from 3 to 5 pounds and it's really showing. I can't believe that 2 pounds could make that much difference but it does. So today will be a rest day for me I think other than the walk with da bears. Sadie is having a problem with one of her hips and the vet says to get her out and walk to strengthen the muscles around it. So away we go!
15 minute project will be putting away groceries. We have NOTHING to eat in this house...well, that's not true, just nothing easy. I'm so lazy in the winter!
The weekend is filled with laundry, car washing and dog washing. The car is covered in salt and the dogs are really smelly. Acutally, the laundry is pretty smelly too. And I've made a plan to snap out of this rut I'm in and get going again. I'll put the finishing touches on that this weekend after I shop for groceries.
One more thing...DH is making yet another attempt to quit smoking. Please keep your fingers, toes, eyes and whatever else you can cross, crossed. So far he's in pretty good spirits about it, but I've yet to see him first thing in the morning. I know how hard this is to do, but he can do it and I'm really pulling for him.
Have a great day and an uber weekend!!!

I had to go out and move 2 of our cars to the opposite side of the street and it is just bitterly cold-and leather interior looks nice but it sure is cold! And again, I'm very thankful for remote start!
Workout this morning was a new walking video that combines the traditional walking video steps with kickboxing moves. Not real difficult to do but it gets the circulation going at a very early morning hour!
Patty I'll be thinking of your sister today and sending prayers her way. Hope everything is ok.
Lori-good luck to your DH. Wishing him good luck and success with kicking the habit!
Phyllis-that's great news for you and your business!
Sassy-hope you and your DH manage to stay warm!
All you northeast girls bundle up and stay warm!
Hope your Friday is filled with fun things!

That sounds like fun, Phyllis...I wish I was there..my DH is working tomorrow, too!
Can you spell BRRRRR?! The office at home is normally kind of cool, but it feels like the garage today. I think we have some caulking to do around the windows - I can feel a slight breeze coming through the frame of the one behind me.
Anyway, it's nice to be home instead of out. Poor DH went out to get the car out of the garage and warmed up - when he came in his face was already red and cool to the touch, and he was probably outside for all of a minute. Yikes. Let's give a thumbs up to all our firefighters and police and anyone else whose jobs don't give them a choice about being outside today.
Working out later this morning - 30 min cardio, the whole weight thing, and abs. Using that 6-lb dumb-bell as I do my crunches really makes a difference.
Breakfast - Steel-cut oats with cinammon, slivered almonds, 1/2 of a chopped Granny Smith apple, SoySlender Vanilla, and a shot of ff half-and-half; a cuppa Joe, and a little glass of oj.
Lunch - Tuna or egg salad. Celery. Wasa Light Rye crispbread or a slice of Arnold HealthNut bread. The other 1/2 of the apple.
Dinner - A quick drive (less than 3 min) to a local place for broiled codfish, salad, and butternut squash.
Snacks - Steamed veggies, deli turkey or Canadian bacon, and string cheese are involved.
Have a great day! Please be careful outside!
