It was a T word, what can I say!!!LOL

How is everyone doing today? And what are you doing today? Are you in the mood to workout hard or maybe thinking more of a relaxing yoga/stretching workout?Do you feel like you can tackle the food deal today? Can you push aside the chocolate and reach for an apple?Or do you maybe need to let it all go for today.Sometimes it seems like when we focus on it too much it take son a life of its own.

I've already made one trip to Cl , it was so cold out!!!Time to head back down soon. Then hit the treadmill.Maybe do some weights today too.I feel like I can handle food and get it in focus today, we'll see.All in all a quiet day around here.No word from the Dr on my sister, that should be today.I would have called by now, don't know how she stands it.

Ok, so tell me what you're up to today.Hope Deb soon gets her computer back up.Shar, loved reading that you almost threw in the SB eating paln but kept going. Great job!Sounds like you're seeing great results.Donna, it just occurred to me that you had a late night workout last week. Did you say you finished at 11???That is determination!Good for you!

Have a great day everyone!!!!

Feeling a bit turbo charged this morning. Extra 15 minutes of a workout must have put me over the edge! Now if I can just turbo charge myself past the brownines sitting in the microwave! Maybe a turbo charger would make the siding guys move faster?

Have yourself a turbo charged day!

Hey there PattyCakes! I like your 'T' word...

Today is Jazzercise day! I'm so psyched! Since I cut back to only 3 days a week, I am looking forward more to the classes and I have to admit, I'm doing better in the classes as well with less soreness to boot. I'm still hoping to amp it up a bit and add one more class a week, but I'm cruising right now. Besides, there are other things to do like weights and walking and *gulp* jogging (ok, it's more like trotting but who cares?). Yep I tried out the jogging thing again last night. Yoga wasn't that appealing for some reason so I hit the treadmill after work and got in a short jogging session between walking breaks for a total of 20 minutes jogging. Did it like a 5 minute walk/5 min run/5 min walk/10 min run/5 min walk/5 min run/10 min walk for a total of 45 minutes on the dreadmill. I don't trot fast...never got over 4.5 mph so I'm not breaking any landspeed records. But I'm trying and I owe that to you, Phyllis and Linda. I gave up on running a long time ago, but I decided to give it one more go. I'm only doing it once or twice a week in between Jazz classes, but it's the variety that I need.

Work is insanely busy and I got 3 new projects yesterday so I'd better get to it. Have a super day everyone.

Good morning!

It is a beautiful Tuesday morning in Boston - cold, brisk, with brilliant sun that is actually throwing a little warmth on us, too. Tough coming back to work today - tough any day, really.

Yesterday, after spending a fairly short time at the Providence Place mall (gorgeous, not Mall of America-sized but big, wonderful shops, including Nordstrom) and having a fun dinner at Fire + Ice (not on Federal Hill, so no pasta problems), by the time DH and I got home, I was absolutely exhausted. I don't know what came over me, but I had no energy to speak of. I was asleep before Everybody Loves Raymond was half over. Thus, no workout Monday.

Since I had a dead deep sleep Monday night, I'll do my big workout Tuesday when I get home. Today's meals? Lunch is so healthy it's sickening. Dinner is actually ready to cook - did all the prep this morning after I woke up and could read the seasoning labels clearly.

We made a quick visit to the Patriots' Pro Shop at the stadium on the way to Providence. I had an armful of long-sleeve T-shirts, kid-sized T-shirts, and a couple of hats, but after I took a look at the line - picture the the line for the most popular ride at DisneyWorld at peak visiting time - you'll know why I didn't leave with any packages. See the story below - Super Bowl fever is rampant, and spreading!

Have a Super Tuesday, everyone!

It's turbo charged alright - work & the teenager are running me ragged!

Did a full body workout w/weights this a.m. & lots of ab work - I miss my aerobics classes! I miss the floor work exercises because they really burned! So, I'm trying to relive those days by adding the killer thigh, buns & ab workouts I remember from those days. Looking back at my photos in the late 80's, my legs were quite small (for moi!) & I remember how hard those exercises worked me! I did lots of leg exercises this a.m. & hope I'm sore tomorrow!

Tonight, it's cardio. Yesterday I worked from sunup to 10 pm so no workout! But I ate very light yesterday & am really going to try to again today even though people are out to sabotage me by bringing in 3 boxes of donuts for meetings!!!! Luckily, none are KK's, although 2 are from Southern Maid Donuts and I think they are supposed to be good. I might have a bite of one to see & throw the rest of the donut away! I'm so bad! I may have to dip the thing in ketchup or mustard to not eat the rest of it!

Hope you ladies go out and get a charge out of the day!

I used to work out that late just about all the time and never had a problem with falling asleep or getting an effective workout. Now I do it once in a while when I feel badly about missing it earlier and can muster up the energy. It really has nothing to do with determination and everything to do with guilt; guilt always works (Catholics with Italian mothers are truly doomed)!

Generally, now I try to wrap it up by 9 pm most of the time. I am not and never have been a morning person, and I certainly won't awaken at 4 am just to go to the basement to exercise. Arising at 5 for my regular morning routine before I go to work is hard enough.

Good morning-

I was so bombarded with popup and messenger ads this morning that it locked up my computer and I gave up.

Wohoo! Just got in my 2 miles on the Stairmaster. Gonna grab my weights in a minute and do some upper body. Today is my free day.....I power cleaned my house yesterday and don't have any running around to do. Dh is home, so Max is downstairs pestering him!!!

It's supposed to be sunny this afternoon, so I think I'll take advantage of it and get the boys to the park. They got so wound up being stuck in the house when it's raining out! I'll get some peace and quiet and they can burn off some energy!

I was tired when I got up this morning, but feeling good now.

I like that T word, Patti...works for me. Feeling pretty good here after getting my mammagrophy. I think I got all areas of my body covered this time around.

Taking a day of rest and stretching after doing 2 hours last night. Can't wait to get back to some sort of cardio exercise.

Hope you triumph over the food today. You can do it!!
