I just have to share with you today what I did last night....it is relatively 'small' but I am kind of proud of it at this moment.

You should be very proud of yourself Nancy! Good for you and I agree, it starts with baby steps. You figured out what would work that late at night and you had great results.
Remember, you can do 3 segments for 10 minute sessions of exercise. STudies have shown that it is just as effective as doing 30 minutes straight. So, in your busy day, if you find you have 10 minutes, take advantage of it. Also, have you heard of doing 2 exercises for 8 minutes every morning? Just do it right in your pjs and work the opposing muscle groups until fatigue.
