So....how dya do today?

I got my workout in really early and it has sustained me thru this turbo charged day for sure. Ate pretty well. Put everything into FitDay, though, and I'm not liking the results of that. Have upped my water. That helps. Didn't stop me from cutting a thin slice of cheesecake in half and sucking it down, though. Saved the other half for DH...I'm taking him down with me, you know!

Dinner tonight will be salad and leftover london broil and veggies. Already ate my sliver of cheesecake so I should be good after that. Evening is never a problem time for me. 3:00 in the afternoon is my absolute worst time of the day for junking.

Hope you all are having an awesome day!

I made a list of all the things I hope to accomplish today. So far everything but weights is done. Will do that later today.I got the list idea from Phyllis and I need to do that more often.I was inspired by Nancy's post about what she did yesterday. I take that all or nothing attitude like Booty mentioned and sometimes end up with nothing. So I didn't want to get on the treadmill today but I said to myself just do something.Did a 2 mile run and a one mile walk with the incline up.I love having the incline so I can challenge myself alittle whether walking or running.Food has gone well today but it's been a struggle.I shouldn't be hungry after all I put away yesterday.

Cheesecake...YUM!!That's a calcium source and good for your bones right :)

My sister called her Drs office today.Get this, they told her the report was in his bin.He was out today but tomorrow either he or his nurse would give her a call. How long can they make her wait!!!!She said she was getting alittle ticked when I talked to her earlier.I also think she is worrying more.Waiting sux!!!!!

Great day so far. Work out is done, (2 miles on the Stairmaster and UB weights) and my eating has been excellent. Breakfast....Breakfree omelet with some Canadian bacon and a little bit of low-fat cheddar. Lunch...Curried Tuna salad with almonds and blue cheese and lf/sf vanilla yogurt for dessert. The only thing left is dinner..Lime/chili poached cod, cauliflower with grated cheese and stirfried bok choy. I'll make some rice for everyone else to have with theirs. Made an orange/yogurt puddingy type thing for my dessert. They will have some leftover apple pie that was in the freezer.

Planning on tuning into day 2 of the American Idol search. Dh and I had a truly good laugh watching it last night. Unbelievable how bad some of them are!!!

Have a wonderful evening my friends.

Of all the "reality" shows on...American Idol is the only one I watch. DD and I were laughing hysterically over it last night. Who ever told those poor souls that they actually sounded good? I love when they get mad and say evil things about Simon. I think I have a crush on him ;)

I'm hooked on The Apprentice. The confrontations between two of the woman are a riot!

It's been a turbo sort of day in spite of a mechanically challenged washing machine that smelled like it was on fire this morning, a brain challenged person, namely me who managed to lock myself out of the house this morning and the challenge of living with two hormonally challenged adult daughters who are fighting like two five year olds! In spite of it all, I felt good about my workout this morning, good about my eating today and just finished with my Tamilee Webb stretch tape that remains one of my favorites! DH is slaving away with the remainder of the dishes and I'm planning to settle into my jammies and between the sheets with my journal which I've started again and hopefully a good night's sleep.

Hope you all had yourselves a thoroughly Turbo Tuesday!

Finished a great workout around 8:40 - 30 min cardio with intervals (including 2 mi in 24 min!), 30 min of all-over weight work, abs, and 10 min of stretching. I can't believe how much more energetic I felt tonight after work than I felt yesterday after a couple hours of moseying around a mall. Got dinner warmed up and set out in time for the State of the Union, settled in to watch and listen, and was impressed by W's fightin' words. Not to mention pleasantly surprised to see the lovely and talented Tom Brady sitting in the guests' gallery!

Now - finally - a hot shower and hittin' the feathers.

Have a restful, peaceful night!
