Just wanted to share that I'm NOT going to get the disease that Eric claims I am, scurvy from not eating fruit.

I need to do this, great idea!So do you not eat alot of fruit? I some how pictured you as doing well with getting fruit in your diet.I have a harder time with cold weather getting fruits and salads in.I have done so badly with my food the last few days.I feel like I'm on a runaway train, out of control!!!!

Citrus is particularly good for preventing scurvy. ;-)

That's how British sailors got the name Limeys.

Yeah, I read that somewhere about the limeys. Can you imagine sucking on limes? Blech! They must have been desperate...

No, but I've seen people who look like they have.

My problem with keeping fresh fruits is that they turn mushy before we eat 'em all.

No, I've always been terrible about fruit.

I can't tell you how much better I feel after reading this.I don't do as well with my fruit as I should.Especially since I can't count twizzlers as a fruit anymore. Thanks,DEb! Now make my day and tell me that when they say you should have a colorful diet you immediately think of M&Ms!

Do M&Ms with peanuts and at least you'll get protein!

I would think so but there are so many "not normal" people that you never know.
