So...how are we doing on our workouts today?

Got mine in...big time! Now I'm jamming to 94.7 The Arrow...I'm not sure if you can pick it up on the web. It's 15 years in 15 days...(1968-1983) today is 1978 and I gotta tell you...I have the house ROCKING. Right now I'm jamming to Ain't That a Shame...can anyone tell me the band???? (see below for the answer).

Did great yesterday, completing the full cardio tape, even the exercises which are hard and those I don't care for.

This morning I had to journal my feelings and pray my way through my workout with incantations of scripture.

Whohoo!!!!I so did not want to workout today.I even did housework to avoid it!!!But I was reading the posts and getting inspired.So I jumped on the treadmill.I cranked it up and worked on my speed today.Felt great!!!

Actually I went to my treadmill to see if either George or M&Ms were there.No such luck!

Finished my workout and ate the light dinner we'd planned.

Workout was awesome. I haven't done 3+ miles o the tread in a while, and I reached the 3-mile point in 35.35. Under 12 min a mile! Did UB and LB Smith machine work, plie and side squats with the 10-lb dumbbells, and ab work (no weight for those, but more twist crunches than usual). Good stretch, too.

Now I need to catch up with the board and get showered and ready for beddy-bye.

I honestly think I head for the basement when I walk in the door at night out of momentum. I try not to look at the comfy sofa and easy chair in the living room. There's always laundry to do (I think Susan drives up to Boston and somehow leaves hers at my house ), the hamper is by the basement door, and I don't want it hanging around longer than it needs to, so I look at it as an opportunity to multi-task. I'm just amazed that working out has become part of my routine - remember how much I hated it when I first started coming here? I think having the stuff at home has made a huge difference in making it habitual. And in helping my progress.

Have your food willies passed yet? Yesterday you seemed more down about it than ever - I didn't even have a good hug to send your way!
