Had a 15 minute warm-up on the treadmill and then DH and I hit the weights. He's so funny. He is so encouraging (irksome, really :) and pushes me to do "just one more, honey, you can do it". Argh. I am so sore now. Did two chest exercises and two shoulder exercises. Then I fixed us my usual breakfast of eggs, cheese and light ham. I've got Classic Rock cranking on the office radio. Not very church-like, but they're doing all the songs from 1979...the year I graduated from high school. Very fun.
Tonight we're ordering pizza and salad from our fave pizza place and stretching out in the living room to watch Holes with the kids.
Hope everyone is having an awesome day! I'm trying not to think of our best friends who flew to Orlando at 8:00 a.m. today for 5 days of Disney fun! I'm sooooo jealous. Callin' for snow tonight (about 2 inches) and "a significant snow event" Sunday into Monday. Kids are off Monday and Tuesday already but I had hoped to escape to work both days!
Later.

I am not a breakfast person, never have been. I usually drink that lethal cup of caffeine, tho. Mid morning and lunch is dry kashi right now because I am watching what I eat. I'll probably have a chicken breast later, followed by some sort of low fat protein tonight with some grilled veggies and of course lots of water all day.
I wanted to play golf tomorrow, but now I hear there is rain in our forecast. :(

How nice to start the day with working out with your DH. Then to have breakfast together...sounds so homey.
WE are getting snow too. They aren't saying much about it yet, but, I heard from the PT a different story. He said his friend from the USCG is preparing for a major snow storm. It could mean feet and not inches! I am hoping the Coast Guard is just being extra cautious.
I had a great workout (at lest the best workout you can do without doing cardio). Taught a total tone class with weights and I got so much energy from the people participating that I worked extra hard. Got lots of compliments afterwards and many came up to me to say they missed me. Sure helps to keep my mind off things.

It is amazing how what we eat effects us the next day, especially sugar if you are not used to eating it. Glad to hear you are feeling better and back on track. Good workout today.

This is a taking it easy workout? I would hate to see what a hard workout is. Good job on your workout.

I made myself go out and walk this afternoon. It's 60, but with the wind it's chilly. The sun is very bright, so I thought that might help give me some energy. I walked maybe 1 1/2 miles. Not great, but a start.
Sassy, Holes is one of Rob's
