What's everyone doing today for your workout? I had thought I'd take a break today, but I'm feeling antsy and my knee feels a bit better, so I'm going to hit the treadmill for a power walk and then the floor (or bench) for abs.

The rest of the day is a zoo...cleaning, laundry, continue the home office clean-up/clean-out, dinner out with friends...

Big snow coming tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it!

Hugs and have a Super-Duper-Ally-Ooper Goo Day as Booty would say!

Good morning!Slept in til 4 am this morning. I'm like a baby who can't get on a good sleep schedule.I was so exhausted last night.Fell asleep for two hours and then was wide awake.I'm blaming Flo.Nothing is wrong and I actually feel great but would love a good nights sleep.

We are suppose to have 7 inches of snow heading our way tomorrow.I have to run uptown for a few things and dread the mad house it will be.But I would really love to have a snowy day at home tomorrow hanging out with the guys.

Rest of the day is catching up on some work in CL.Waiting to hear my sister if she wants to walk today.If not I will do something here at home.I am in the right frame of mind to exercise and eat well now.

My appt for the shots went well yesterday.I was alittle nervous about getting shots in my head but barely felt anything.2 in my temples and 2 in my neck.In 2-3 weeks I should be able to tell if they will help the migraines or not.It is amazing what they are using botox for now.Stroke victims are being helped a great deal by them, as are MS patients.I feel so lucky to have found the Dr I have, a really caring person.

Good Saturday! Poor Pattycakes - yes, you need your sleep! Lately, I've been waking up too much in the middle of the night. Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. I might try the warm milk w/cinnamon trick (no sweetening) to see if that soothes me tonight.

I woke up at 4 a.m. today & got the Firm Body Sculpting done (didn't do it last night). I'm going to have to add some killer thigh & bu** work to that as IMHO that video just doesn't have enough inner, outer thigh or hamstring workout. Some of the Firm's older videos work those thighs alot better. Oh well . . . Anyway, will try to do that while I wait for cable guy. Right now, I'm on my office AOL, but better hurry out to not miss the cablelynx connection. Hopefully will check in later

Good Morning to All!

Workout is complete for the day-walking on the treadmill for 28 minutes 2.04 miles and Kathy Smith tape for upper and lower body workout. Nothing very exciting on the agenda around here. DD's BF is here visiting this weekend so I can't do much cleaning when he's around because of his allergies (I really don't know how the poor guy survives in this house of dust and dog hair!) so I'll be tackling a project just not sure which one and back to doing mountains of laundry! DS will be home tomorrow night and I'm hoping the snowstorm that is anticpated will hold off until he is safely on the ground and back home.We may try to see Lord of the Rings this evening if the other couple we're supposed to see it with can make it. Otherwise just another ordinary Saturday around here.

A tip for all you ladies:

Don't go to Sweden if you're trying to lose weight. I swear this entire country is fattening. And with the snow and damp and cold, you're even more inclined to want to pig out (well, at least I am...) and you simply can't get food here that isn't covered in fattening sauces... They may grill the meat, but then they slather it in sauce. And trying to communicate with them about it, they forget any semblance of english... and just serve you the sauce anyways... UGH!

Good thing I'm here with my sweetie - between our, erm, short bursts of aerobics together, and walking to and from trams and busses, that's the only exercise I'm getting... Well, we go back home to Bologna on Tuesday and I'm gonna hit the exercise and food tracking extra hard...

Oh - I just booked our hotel room for Valentine's Day - we're spending it in ROME!!! I'm so excited!

I just came back from a 2.5 power walk around the park jogging trails with my bf, and now I am finally having my morning java. After this, we are going to head to our favorite health food grocery store and look for some coconut oil. My best friend in Austin uses it all the time, and Dr. Mercola has lots of info about it on his site. Then my bf is going to torture me by either stopping at Starbucks or Panera Bread and having a frozen coffee in front of me. Grrrr...... I love those things, but am not going to start allowing myself a cheat day for another week, so I will grit my teeth and be good.
