Smilin' Saturday Workouts

What's everyone doing today for your workout? I had thought I'd take a break today, but I'm feeling antsy and my knee feels a bit better, so I'm going to hit the treadmill for a power walk and then the floor (or bench) for abs.

The rest of the day is a zoo...cleaning, laundry, continue the home office clean-up/clean-out, dinner out with friends...

Big snow coming tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it!

Hugs and have a Super-Duper-Ally-Ooper Goo Day as Booty would say!

Sassy

Sure hope the Botox helps. I had read about it for migraines and MS, but hadn't heard it could help stroke victims. Just think, those areas won't wrinkle either!!! ;-) A little perk there for ya.

I feel like I've had too much wine!

I get Dr. Mercola's newsletters too. Got some coconut oil a month or two ago, but the biggest problem is finding a way to take it that I like. It has many good benefits and has gotten a bum rap over the years. If you find a good way to take it, please let me know.

I attempted Pilates for the first time since second surgery. Did everything but the things that had to be done on your toes..like the pilates push up. It felt good to stretch and elongate!

We are started to get word that the big snow will come Sunday night after the little one today. So, we will be batting down the hatches! Hope you don't get hit too hard with the snow.

Did you like Big Fish? We thought it was very good, in a Forest Gump kind of way.

We're getting a late start around here. Rob left to go to a skatepark in St. Augustine with a friend and Tim is taking a "day off" resting after a tough week. I'm at the computer and haven't even read the paper yet. It's sunny and will be about mid-60's today, so I'm going to do something outside -- walk and maybe some yardwork. That always helps charge my batteries. I have a card for a free sample of some Lancome eye cream, and they're having a free gift with purchase now, so I may zip out to the mall.

Tim wasn't up to going out last night, so maybe we'll do the dinner and movie thing tonight.

Hope everyone is enjoying your Saturday!

I saw a lot of good previews. The Big Bounce, Garfield, Moose-something (can't remember), and several others we'd like to see. We've been going a lot lately, and it's fun to see them on the big screen. It had been so long prior to this recent "date night" thing that I'd forgotten how much I liked going to the movies. We were supposed to see Cheaper by the Dozen last night (Rob recommends it ;-), but didn't make it. Maybe tonight...

Good morning!

Did my cardio - 2 mi plus, with the 2 miles at 24 min and the rest more casual. Finished up after 35 min. Might do some weight work later on.

Got started on the sorting and filing - now I'm compelled to finish, because the dining room table looks like a file cabinet exploded and the dining room was just starting to look like a presentable place again.

DH is in the attic - THROWING AWAY STUFF!!!! UNPROMPTED!!!! Four bags full, a couple of piles of other stuff, and counting. I'm breaking out the champagne.

Man, it's cold again. The sun is beautiful, but it's just window dressing - there is no warmth coming from it.

Have a good day!
