Phyllis,

I don't think you're nuts but I do agree that it is a huge undertaking for you and Johnny. I really have no advise to offer other than as my DH always says on decisions like this "pray on it",which I know you're already doing. God does move in mysterious ways, and it is a wonderful thing that you and Johnny are considering as so many children do fall through the cracks in a situation like this. I offer you my prayers to you and Johnny that whatever decision you may make that it will be the right one.

Hugs,

Susan

So, are we talking flat-out adoption here? Which, to me, would be the only way, but then you're not me :) I think it is awesome. I know you're already praying about it, been praying about it for awhile. So....what's your heart reaction? You know where that comes from. And, of course, it's not like this would be the first time you ever had the pitter patter of little feet in your house, in which case my response might have been...what in the h**k are you thinking??????

You'll do this just fine and, hmmmmmmm....seems to me this solves some issues as well.

Hugs and love ya.

Sassy

Not thinking you're nuts, thinking you guys are incredibly special people to be considering this.No words of wisdom or advice but you know you always have my support, friendship and love with any decision you make. Here for you if you need to someone to talk to, someone to listen or someone to care.I'll be keeping you and Johnny in my thoughts and prayers as you face this decision.

Sheba is not especially good with children but after having 2 little ones here during Christmas, she got used to it.

Phyllis, I would never say that you 'are nuts' to undertake this.
