to get, but it is coming tomorrow. I guess I will have to go out in the cold and teach those classes tonight. 2 and 1/2 hours just seems like such a long time when I think about it. Luckily, it goes pretty quickly once I get started.
DH and I got out most of yesterday. We shopped for dining room furniture. It was a long, expensive, theraputic day. My foot is swollen again...I guess I did a little too much walking around.
Update on son: Docs feel that they got the antivirul meds in fast enough and they are optimistic. DS talked to the army. They have had workers bitten by monkeys with open sores from Monkey Herpes and they have been alright as long as they had the meds. The docs keep saying the risk is low...if we can only believe them. It is hard not to worry, but we are all doing better.
Stress eating was out of control over the weekend but I think I am doing better today. Getting ready for the big snow storm that is on its way. Maybe the meteorologists have it right this time.

No snow up here either. I keep hoping the weather reports will just go away - yesterday the forecast was for snow starting mid-afternoon Tuesday, heavy throughout the night, and tapering off Wednesday morning. Early today it was heavy snow Wednesday all day, and I'm in the belt where the snow could be the heaviest (fairly normal for a southern NE storm). I'm hoping it ends up being a big fat dud, with warmer temperatures of course, and the forecasters all end up with egg on their faces.
I got nervous enough over the predictions that I called the oil company to schedule a delivery rather than wait for the automatic delivery ticket to be processed. Should have a full tank by Tuesday morning. Whew!

Glad to hear you've had some encouraging news about your son. But I know until you get the all clear everyone's minds won't be completely at rest. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Waiting for that snow too. Snowblowers are again out of stock at the place where DS works and the calcium chloride for ice melt keeps coming in the back door of the store and out the front. They've had some great business! DS is supposed to be starting his 2nd session of oil burner repair and oldest is supposed to be starting her winter session of grad school tomorrow night-we'll see!
Stay warm!
Susan
Grace, I've been wondering what you were hearing about DS.

Under the circumstances, I can certainly see why you might do some stress eating, but it is encouraging that the doctors seem so positive. Time will tell, and I am keeping you both in my prayers.
So, give the details about your furniture!
