Monday Madness Check-in....

How did everyone do today? I am still in my jammies. I'm sipping on a latte (from Caribou Coffee, not Starbucks) that DH (the dear) stopped and got for me on his way home. I have done a few 15 minute organizing/clean out projects. Took (or attempted to take) several naps and dried a lot of snow play clothing over and over. I've got italian sausage in the oven to go with our sghetti sauce and pasta, salad and homemade bread from the bread machine. Tomorrow it is back to the grind. No excuses. I think I'm really suffering from winter depression and stress overload. Time to get a grip again. Still struggling with what to do about my job. DH tells me to quit and quit now. But I don't want to overstress him with $$ issues, so I need to run down a few ideas and leads before I put my notice in. Money isn't everything, but it's always nice to have some for the extra stuff and I hate budgeting. I have a feeling I'm going to have to learn to do it and like it (sort of like that love/hate relationship I have with the dreadmill!).
On another note...has anyone seen the new commercials for the 2004 Summer Olympics? I hear that Greece is REALLY far behind in completely the venues and also security. I'm sure it will all come together. I love watching the Olympics, winter and summer, it doesn't matter. And I like watching all of the different sports (although weight lifting and wrestling I'd probably skip). I love the stories behind the athletes, especially the ones overcoming adversity. The opening ceremonies are always spectacular. I'm looking forward to it! How about you guys????
More nasty weather on the way. Batten down the hatches, Princess, more's a-comin'!
Hugs.

I got a 5 mile run in this morning and finally did some weights.Exercise was great but food....sheesh!!I think I'm suffering from the "I love food and sweats never get too tight"syndrome.

I haven't gotten my butt out of the computer chair except for eating breaks.

I found myself watching "Mystic Pizza" (love that movie) and reading "First" magazine while sipping tea and eating a cookie.

Sassy, I agree..love the games!
Trying to figure out which leftovers to dive into - I'm not really hungry yet, but I feel it coming on, and the leftovers are all looking a bit heavy. This might be time for some steamed veggies with parmesan, a slice of fiber-heavy bread, the rest of my artichoke salsa, and some deli turkey. No salad - I'm sick of salad.
