Good morning my gorgeous and energetic friends-
If you don't mind, I'd kind of like to do away with the positives on Tuesday and make them a part of Thankful Thursday.

Waking up to another day in winter wonderland or as I refer to it " the horrible abyss til summer finally gets here".We have sleet this morning followed by snow this afternoon and high winds tomorrow.I keep thinking about BNL's son who is sporting a tan!!!!So I'm thinking about throwing on some bronzer, my shorts and turning the heat up to tropical island!!!!!
Today's workout will be something on the treadmill.Either a run or walking with intervals.
15 min project; jazzing up the piggies with some sparkly polish
Today I'm going to try what BNL mentioned in her post and drink lots of water to help find the food demons.I will not stuff my face with food and I will not let winter weather pull me down!!!!
Have a Top Notch Tuesday everyone~!!

So, my game plan for the day is to get on the treadmill. Then crank up the weights...lat pull down and rows for the back and squats and lunges.
Laundry, cleaning and office work is also on the schedule.
Hope some of you, somehwere are getting some sun today! We're callin' for more ice to form throughout the day and then snow on top of that. Loverly :)
Hugs.

Have a wonderful day, all.
It's 510am and I'm trying to wake up with a cup of coffee!

And I use that term loosely this AM. Two members of my family have already lit the fuse this morning, and an emergency run to DH's place of employment with a package he had forgotten had me test out my antilock brakes when someone made a left in front of me, fortunately she picked up the pace and I stopped in time. Hope the tone for the day hasn't been set over the course of the last 1 1/2 hours.
It is gray and gloomy here again today. It's about 16 here and the prediction of all kinds of lovely weather headed our way also. The lastest prediction is 6 to 10" with more on the eastern end of LI. This is on top of the ice and snow that hasn't had a chance to melt. Yuck!
Workout was 25 minutes on the treadmill and weights. I had to cut the treadmill time to mostly walking since my knees have been talking to me for the past week and it hasn't been pleasant conversation. Stretching or yoga is on the menu for this evening.
My 15 minute projects will have to wait until this evening because of my unexpected journey this morning!
Hope all of you enjoy a Top Notch Tuesday!
Susan
Energetic and gorgeous, huh? OK, considering the alternatives, I'll take it.
No sign of "s" yet, 'though it's cold and damp feeling. I'm minding it more today than when it was just frigid cold and dry outside - the dampness gets all the way into my bones and it doesn't feel good.
15-minute project - who knows? There's a list, and I seem to be entering a low-energy phase (pre-AF), so the list likely will just be longer by tomorrow.
Despite my ho-hum feeling, I will do a 45-min cardio workout tonight. On the way home tonight, I'm getting new run/walk shoes before shin splints set in, new Thorlos for my tootsies, and a couple pair of arctic weight socks so my feet stay toasty through the storm tomorrow. DH has already declared a personal holiday because the morning commute is going to s*^k, so he'll have to shovel just enough to get the car out of the driveway, get me to the train, and get himself home safely tomorrow morning - about a 4-mile roundtrip for him, with a java stop in the middle.
DH discovered a big box in the garage last night when he put the car away. He said it looks like a headboard! So, three vendors later, if the fabric is the right one and the thing fits, our bed will soon be complete! All we have to do now is connect headboard to frame - I hope that is simpler than buying the thing was.
Just noticed we haven't heard from Lori or Margie lately - how are things going, ladies? Hope everything's ok in your worlds.
Be careful in the weather, everyone - sounds like pretty much everyone is being or going to be affected by it. Have a good day!

Good morning everyone! Those of you with the wretched weather, please try to stay off the roads and keep warm.
The rain stopped early this morning, but it's still overcast. I won't whine until we hit freezing tonight -- 82 yesterday, freezing tonight -- that's Florida winter weather for you. At least there will be some moisture in the soil and plants before the freeze hits, which should help them tolerate it better.
I have to update our RWCDF mailing list for printing address labels, so that will be several 15 minute projects. I've got the first load of laundry going and have other cleaning chores to do today. Tim is home not feeling well, so that kind of limits what I can do so I don't disturb him.
Have a good day!
