Wicked Wednesday Workouts...

And it IS a wicked day. Kids are off from school. Again. This will be day five of quality time with the darlings. Out the door and into the ice and snow they are going! I plan a nice step workout (assuming I can find the step and remove the layer of dust that has surely accummulated on it) then I'll hit the dirt for some ab work. I can't wait until I see clear pavement outside. I need fresh air and sunlight (even if it's filtered behind cloud cover). I'm feeling like Bill Bixby, turning into the Hulk, ripping off my clothes to reveal a stronger, ready-to-move me. But I also feel a new sense of purpose and peace this morning. Hmmmmm.

I'll be baking some cookies today. And some chicken for dinner. CLeaning and laundry are on the agenda. I brought some office work home with me yesterday so I'll get a jump on that and DH is going to get me up the church hill later today to pick up some more work. It was very, very icy yesterday and I wouldn't have done it myself.

Enjoying my quiet time this morning with my coffee, computer and FoF board. Hugs, girls. I'll be checking in later to see how we're all doing!

Sassy

Wicked-good word for the day. Wicked weather-9+ inches of snow and still coming, wicked woman living in this house with a wicked mood, wicked hormones coursing through the bloodstream that's causing wicked cravings that have thus far been averted, and we'll say the wicked woman is none too pleased with the male species. If that's not enough I'm just so tired. I'm waiting for a call from the office as to whether we are open or not. I'm only a mile from the office so of course if the bosses can get there I don't have much of an excuse.

I did haul myself out of bed this morning and just finished a 25 minute walk on the treadmill and did 1.8 miles. Hope to avert the cravings once again as I've really been doing well in the eating department but that was before the wicked woman came to live here so I'll have to see what I can do to evict her.

Ok, off to start my day-work, stay at home not sure what it's going to end up being.

Hope Wicked Wednesday treats you well!

I guess I'm blessed (or is it cursed?) that I have an anal, logistician husband who over-plans everything. Sometimes it is a good thing, other times...well, you get the picture.

Even if you say, "you're on your own", won't you still be held responsible/accountable as the "wife"? LOL

I stand by my original observation: Men...can't live with 'em, can't bury them in the back yard.

Are you sure it's a sense of peace or is it oblivion from 5 days of quality time and winter weather????I'm with you on needing sunlight!!!!I need to be sitting on a warm tropical island while cabana boys wait on me!

Part of my workout wil be digging my car out and at least making it uptown.I need to get out!I may switch off and do a step workout today.Or I may just bundle up and head outside for a walk.Need to do my weights too.

As always I need to work on my diet.I'm thinking of doing something radical like just cutting out the junk food.Maybe try to eat like a well adjusted adult for a few days.

Have a goo one!

GADS! What a mess it is out there. I'm glad I was stuck at home for a few days and let the majority of this snow crap get pushed out of the way. 13 inches of snow...who knew? We had plenty of sunshine yesterday but it never got warmer than 10 degrees. If we're lucky, the weatherman says we might make it up to 0 (yes that's a zero) today.

Went to Jazz last night. Was feeling pretty perky last night but I took it easy and had a nice workout. Heading for a light weight workout tonight to get back in the swing of things. Might go to body sculpting and use lighter weights. I dunno yet.

Work is on the agenda today. Gotta spend a little time catching up with the gang and then tackle the pile on my desk and try to remember what I was doing friday when I left things sit.

Have a great day everyone.
