Wild & Wooly Wednesday Workout Update...

How's everyone doing with their workouts? Water? Food? Joy? Happiness? 15-minute projects? Desk work (for those at the office)?

No workout yet for me. I got rolling on my HOME office and I can't stop! Okay, I'm AFRAID to stop! But I still have my eyes on my workout for this afternoon. Eating is going great today (if you exclude the life savers candy cane peppomint I had). Food is good...just refilled my big blue water cup. Joy? Eh. The darlings are home for the 5th day in a row...ditto for the Happiness! Have done a couple 15-minute projects, when I take mini breaks from my 15 day project...the home office!

Did my workout early this a.m. (3 mi. run & abs) 'cause I have to work tonight. My triceps are extremely sore from pushups! I never knew I could be this sore, but it's a good sign! Legs are still sore from last week, but I worked thru that yesterday. Tomorrows Body Sculpt won't be as difficult to get through, I bet.

Eating is great only because I'm journaling every morsel. The WW points are so low & hard to get used to at first (but I will as I did before). I did kind of feel light headed late p.m. yesterday, so I had a tbsp. of peanut butter, which did wonders. Water & JOY??? I'm really having to scrape to find them. Just kidding! Drinking lots of decaf coffee & teas. I'm freezing in this office & at home! Had to sleep in sweats over my pj's! I know you ladies up there would find our weather a walk in the park, but I can't wait for the 70's (temps, that is). My joy is knowing God cares.

Just finished workout and need to eat (need to shower more, but I'm hungry). 2 miles on the tread in 23.08 min. UB and LB work and abs - even tried a Pilates mat move and found that my ab and back muscles are a bit stronger than I thought. Did really good stretching session, too - muscles that I haven't really paid attention to in a while, especially my calves.

Going to eat rotisserie chicken, steamed zucchini and summer squash, and 1/2 a sweet potato. Big old white potato for DH.

Slept a little late so I got the treadmill done this morning and did the weights tonight. My food is good, living on the lowest sugar Kashi, chicken, fish, grilled veggies, and drinking tons of water. Joy? Weeellll....anytime my food and workouts are good then my Joy is always higher, no matter how many obstacles try to push their way through. ;)

Wednesday wasn't too bad. I got my workout in after work...went to Jazz class and got Jazzed up. Eating was ok, except for the Toll House Cookie bars. I'm so weak...ack. Water? I'm practically sloshing when I walk. The air is so dry (or 'crisp' as those who like it that way call it) my throat is burning all the time so I'm drinking water like a fish. How much? Anyone's guess is as good as mine but way more than 64 oz a day.

Joy? Um, joy. Well, my partner and I won a 4-hand cribbage game yesterday. Whupped a** as they like to say and that made us rather joyful. Happiness? It's too cold for the dogs to wander far so I don't have to go looking for them. That makes me EXTREMELY happy.

No 15 minute projects as there was too much desk work!
