My mother sent me this clip in the mail about my grandmother's home on Watauga in Johnson City, TN. It is now a shelter for women and children. I loved that old house! The clip she sent also had an old photo of my mother and my two aunts back in 1945 (mother was 11 at the time). They were so thin! But this internet version doesn't have their photo, just the one of the house. I am so please & I know my grandmother would be, too!

I'll have to pass this on to DH...he's an East Tennessee State Univ grad.

Such a beautiful part of the country. I loved going to visit him there.
