The workout was completed early this morning, eating went well in spite of my very favorite bagel in the office. I contented myself with a small piece and treated myself to a vanilla latte from Starbucks this afternoon. DH went to a Rangers game this evening and I had to run him to the trainstation. I should be at the grocery store but having a bit of a problem in the motivation department to leave the house again. DD is out shopping and is bring me home Panera for dinner. I've decided that Friday night is my night to indulge a bit in the eating department since it's usually takeout night. Moderation without overindulgence.
Work was another Frantic Friday afternoon. Although I had a very nice client bring me in a belated Christmas gift which turned out to be a $50 Macy's gift card. 15 minutes later I had a less than pleasant client standing there making remarks under her breath. Fortunately she was picking up her file to handle her legal matters herself. But the day is done workwise and I just may muster up enough energy to get to the grocery store, have something to eat and settle in on the couch in my jammies and watch TV. Haven't watched TV all week and While You Were Out and What Not To Wear are on. So that's the game plan for the day.
I hope your day was a pleasant one and you all have a good evening!

As for the workout, Weeelll....it was kinda funny. I was looking thru my tape collection and saw a favorite step aerobics tape I used to do all the time. (Kathy Kaehler) I decided the treadmill sounded a little boring this morning and thought I would do that step tape instead. The only problem was I sold my step before I moved, so I tried to figure out some other way to do it and what I came up with was putting our two small white kitchen stepladders side by side and using those. LOL! It was a funny site to see, but it worked and at the end I was sweating more than I have sweat on the treadmill in a long time!
Tonight is relaxing with the bf, some grilled chicken for supper, and a couple of good movies.

Bumps in the road? How about a printer (the high-quality color one) that ran out of black toner with just 12 copies of 3 pages left to print? How about an engineer who loved his estimate so much he wouldn't let it go until the last minute? How about a consultant who offered to do the covers and bindings for the proposal and made too few copies to meet the minimum submission requirements? Shall I go on? My only concern was making sure my boss got on the road by 11:30 to bring this project to the client to meet the 1:00 pm deadline. Got him out the door at 11:45. All things considered, pretty good.
Thanks for reminding me about "What Not to Wear" tonight, Susan - I love that show.
Heading to the dungeon now....

Pretty good day today. I didn't get to the floors due to some unexpected political work that took priority (The floors will still be dirty Monday -- unfortunately), then the newsletters were ready at the printer, so had to pick them up, get them taped and stamped and would have printed out address labels except I found out a lot of important members aren't on the "paid" list for dues. I'm still waiting for word on how to handle that. Do I go ahead and add them to the mailing list and send them anyway, or do I wait for them to pay and leave them off? I want these on their way tomorrow.
Got a lot of errands run, enjoyed a Fandango salad at Panera tonight, and ate well all day until I had some chocolate covered raisins at the movies. It made it up to 67 today, so that was good too.
I'm pretty tired tonight, and I spoke too soon about my arms not being sore from all the trimming yesterday. The right one is especially sore. Hopefully, I burned some calories and tightened some muscles a little.

Time invested in improving ourselves cuts down on time disapproving of others.

And I fell asleep just as What Not to Wear started and awoke just as the credits were rolling at the end.
