Heading to the dungeon for my workout...treadmill and abs. Then shower and church.

One "BABE" checking in :) I'm going with the Pats for no real reason.

I'm trying to decide whether to work out or take it easy today. May hit the treadmill for a quick run before going back to CL.Dh mentioned lunch out so I may take him up on that.Although lately it seems the more I try to watch my diet the more people want me to go to lunch.

I put a card up on my frig that has a dog on laying on a couch telling his dr "It's hopeless!I'll never be able to catch my tail!"Then it says "with age comes wisdom".Pretty cute.

How can it possibly be February?????I still have issues left from January....2001!

Good Morning,

Have to go with the Pats since younger DD's BF is a huge Pats fan and she figures she may not be able to speak to him for the next few days if they and lose and basically I'm still a New Englander at heart! Apparently someone else is planning festivities in my kitchen since my freezer has some very strange things in it. I was just planning to throw a roast in the oven...someone has game food in mind and it's not DH...think it's my oldest and BF. I can only hope cleaning up the kitchen goes with messing up the kitchen.

No workout for me today. I've gone 6 days in a row so taking the day for myself. After a quick trip to Costco I'm going to get my hair cut and colored then off for a manicure, pedicure and waxing of the eyebrows. Hope to get some reading done this afternoon and unfortunately can't have the entire day to myself there's still laundry to be done.

That's my Super Bowl Sunday! Enjoy yours! And have to say GO PATS!

And Phyllis...guys, clean bathrooms, football not sure that all adds up!

Glad you're back, Phyllis. I missed you lots & lots. Your Superbowl menu sounds oh so yummy! Three out of the ESPN quartet picked the underdog (an underdog partially because they've had so much controversy within their team this past year - I'll never forget the kicking episode), so you're not the only one. I will root for New England, but those Panthers may have their game plan down . . . Wish I could watch the game with Donna! That would be a hoot!!!!

Not feeling up to par, still, so I'm taking another day off from workouts. Have to work. Made ds' banana pudding last night for him to take to the bowl party he was invited to & I will just chill out tonight with a glass of Riesling. I'll probably watch "Notting Hill" instead of Superbowl! I even have a new royal blue plush robe to get all comfy with tonight. Dillard's has been having some good sales. The robes will be $9.99 today! I should have waited, but oh well. . .

Have a super Sunday everyone.

I've not gotten any workouts in this week - my cold went straight to my left ear, as I feared.

I went for a bikeride today! YAY!

It was nearly 50f here. And sunny. (There *are* advantages to living in Italy... ;-)

I was so thrilled. And I absolutely loved getting on my bike. I did keep it very easy and short - only 5 km. Tomorrow, I'll take it in and have the bikeshop do some seasonal maintenance on it to make sure it's in good shape to take a longer ride later this week.

Have a great Super Bowl for those who watch it. And a great day for the rest of you too.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone!

Finally, no more yakking. Well, except for about 4 more hours. Who's my pick?! Need you ask?

Went to the store this morning and found the typical Super Bowl crowd. Twelve deep at the deli counter, and the junk food section they set up with a Super Bowl theme had been totally Hoovered - just a couple of sad 12-packs of Pepsi were left. And the balloons and decals were gone as well. So, I have my little Patriots Super Bowl XXVI banner in the front door for decoration, and I'm channeling all the positive spirits of Gillette Stadium.

Bought my fixings for meatloaf for dinner. Except for the eggs, I'm going to mix it all up before we head out to my ILs for a little pre-game mini-pep party at their place. We'll be home in time to pop dinner in the oven and it'll be ready by the time the second quarter of the game starts. Accompaniments will be peas, salad and mashies for DH, faux-tatoes and salad for me.

Got my workout in after I got back from the store - 3.5 miles on the tread. 3 mi in 34.40. Really enjoying the running intervals. I'm amazed.

Ok, DH made breakfast - the eggs smell awesome and I'm hungry.

GO PATS - ALL THE WAY!

Your menu sounds yummy. I think you're wise to go upstairs and pass on the waittress thing. I should probably root for the southern team, but the
