I've seen Nottinghill a couple of times and still wouldn't mind seeing it again. Hugh's roomate almost steals the show.

That's my kind of football (crabmeat)!! Loved the end of your post. Hope you're feeling better soon and good luck to your team too.

Phyllis, my first post was to you. This is the general post. LOL!

It started raining last night, and we're having a good, steady rain now. It's a good day to go to a matinee or stay inside and watch TV or read. This is the start of our version of April Showers, so the flowers and trees can get growing and blooming in the next several weeks.

I read the new "People" and the new "Fitness" (good articles) last night. There's a few articles in Fitness I'd like to go back over. They even have some upper body Pilates moves from Alycea Ungaro. She and I have emailed several times, and she is very knowledgable and nice. I have two of her books (one with a CD for traveling). She's also on the excellent Classical Pilates videos.

No real plans today. I may work on

Are you sure we're not related? Those are my two favorite commercials, also, although two others really made me laugh loud and long: the one with the horses playing football and the "zebra" reviewing a play on the field, and the two Dalmatians razzing each other.

Jacksonville, huh? Hmmm.......Maybe I'll look into Super Bowl packages a little more closely next year - but only if the Patriots make it again. I like football, but not enough to make a pilgrimage without them in it. Maybe I can call it an early 25th anniversary present for DH (REAL early).....

How can you not like Larry Bird? At least as a basketball player. He was a patient at my sister's hospital (when his back initially started giving him trouble) and behaved like a real prima donna the whole time he was there.

Did I ever mention that, about 20-something years ago, in the dark days of disco, I danced with Larry Bird? Yup, two dances at a now defunct nightclub in Boston called Jason's. The day I danced with Larry was the same day I ran into (literally) Seiji Ozawa (former conductor of the Boston Symphony) - almost knocked the poor man over coming out of a convenient store one time, was using a pay phone right next to him the next time, and danced next to him and his wife at Jason's the third time. Weird day.

I also met my DH at Jason's, so for me it was a good luck kind of place. Too bad the owners didn't fare as well.

Sorry to hear he was a prima donna in the hosp. He seems so nice and low key when you see him on TV and what a great player he was.
