Sunny Sunday Super Bowl Updates...

I am grinnin' from ear to ear...THE SUN IS OUT! At first, I thought it was just the spotlights from a passing police helicopter, but it really is the sun! Woo-Hoo. Just got home from church and I'm changing into my sweats and I'm going out to do what I dreamt of doing several days ago...I'm just going to stand outside with my face turned up to the sun and SOAK IT UP.
Got to Sunday School late. Because my workout was so pumped up. I did extra stuff that was actually scheduled for tomorrow...biceps and triceps. My entire upper body is exhausted, but happy. Also got in my cardio and tons o' abs.
Then went to church. Afterwards, we had supper in the Fellowship Hall. Yummy. I threw the chili in the crockpot before I left to have tonight during the trouncing of the Panthers game.
Just DD and I here now...nice and quiet. C ya gurls.

I had the most awesome run today.Got up cranky and out of sorts, decided to jump on the treadmill for a short run.I did 3 miles and took almost 3 minutes off my time.Best part was I got off upbeat and feeling so much better.Plan on hitting the weights later.

Oh send just a bit of that sun our way PLEASE!!!!!!!
I guess I was ill-prepared for Superbowl Sunday.
Boy, if the economy isn't recovering well you'd never know it from the mall yesterday and Publix and Walmart today. It was like Christmas both days fighting the crowds and trying to find a parking place.
I was starving at 3, so went ahead and ate my Cuban sandwich. I'll just have something light tonight. Picked up stuff for rootbeer floats for the guys, a little cheese Danish, and some pistachios for me. It's good that I have to take the time to crack them, although I've gotten very proficient at it over the years -- kind of like steamed crabs in that regard.
I've gotten my errands run except for picking up Rob about 5:30, done some laundry and dishes, finished my business cards and printed them out, and think I will retire to the bedroom with the Sunday paper. I usually read that first, but got sidetracked today.
No sun yet, but the rain has stopped. On the way home from the store, I saw two Red Bud trees starting to bloom, and that made my day!
