'Tis a Mighty Fine Monday.

Have already dropped DH off at metrorail heading to the airport to fly out this morning. He'll be gone until Thursday evening, I believe. Kids are up and about and heading out.

No workout planned this morning. Rest day. Monday's are always a bit off since youngest DS gets out of school at 12:30 and the others are on regular schedule. I'm thinking I'll plan a cardio workout this afternoon.

Going to be a busy week.

Let's keep the bar raised for February. I'm going to focus on food...in a GOOD way this month!

Hugs.

Sassy

Good morning! Not sure what's up today.May stay home , may ride with a friend to a drs appt.Think I will head to my treadmill right now so that gets done.Yesterdays run did so much for me physically and mentally.I want that feeling again today!!Already gotten alot of my work done in CL , some laundry done and even worked on cleaning out the frig.I love getting up early and getting a good start on things.

Callin for snow and ice tomorrow!!!I absolutely have to get uptown tomorrow!!Kenny Chesney has a new cd coming out which he says makes "you roll down the windows and crank up the music".Sounds like just thing to get me thru February.

Hope everyone has a mighty fine Monday!!!!

Good Monday Morning!

Workout is complete for the day- 30 minute walk on the treadmill for 2.1 miles and 30 minutes of weight work. Looking forward to getting back on track with my eating, got a bad case of the munchies during the football game last night! But a new day and a new week calls my name.

Nothing much else except the usual before work, work and after work type of things.

Hoping you all have a Mighty Fine Monday!

Good morning!

Happy as a clam up here! Finally, we may actually break 32 degrees. 32 points, 32 degrees - what a fine coincidence. Actually, they're callin' for 40 degrees. Beach weather.

Workout is 30 min cardio and weights/abs. Dinner is whatever - just when we finish off one round of leftovers, there's a new one waiting for us for the week. Thank goodness - I really hate cooking at 8:45.

I'm in need of a new handbag. The strap on one side of the one I have literally is hanging on by a thread. I've checked out Kohls, Walmart, and a couple of other places so I don't have to spend a major chunk of cash on one. That's looking more likely, so I'm going to be wandering around Back Bay looking for a sale on black leather handbags that are just the right size. That's going to be the challenge - something that will fit more than a transit pass and a tube of lipstick, but not so big that I'll be tempted to load it up and hurt my shoulders.

15 minute task - the bills. They never got done yesterday. I wonder why....

Have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning Everyone....!

Re the Superbowl...ate too much chicken, but read several magazines.

Most important items on the day--fitness of course.

Plans today include three hours of class, maybe a bit longer if my friend does some of her routines for Jazzercise workshop.

I agree, Deb! Definitely not okay with me, either. I was flipping the channel and that just popped out (literally) - I was totally shocked! Why the NFL chose MTV to produce the half-time show is beyond me, but those kind of shenanigans are what they should have expected. My ds missed it (good for him) - the boys had such a good time together, they ignored the whole game & played a game of basketball. I knew they wouldn't sit still for a football game! Danny said the older boys scarfed down my banana pudding and he didn't even get one bite. His stomach rebelled against the chili he ate, so the child came home feeling ill. Went straight to bed!

I chilled out with a glass of Riesling and some buffalo chicken strips w/veggies & watched most of "Notting Hill".

I have to work tonight, so no workout for me. I still feel horrible. Yesterday was very tough dealing with the pain & standing on my feet. I'll be glad when this is over.

Have a nice day, everyone.

Good Morning! I got my workout in first thing this morning and am about to work on a cup of coffee! I should quit the caffeine and did once, but then started back.

I don't have that book, but I may go buy it and join you guys. I hope everyone has a fun Monday!

Try Walmart--they had it at a pretty good discount price.
