today. I have all 15 I need for recertification in May. I did 2 home study courses that come in the AFAA fitness magazine (American Fitness) and it feels good to be all set.
Went and got a lot of veggies to make stir fry. Last night on FITtv, there was a fitness fantasy about a young girl who had high cholesterol. She lowered her cholesterol 60 points in 8 weeks and lost 10 lbs by eating a lot of stir fry veggies over pasta. Of course she was eating Micky D's before that and big Italian dinners with lots of cheese, but I think that is awesome. I know I said I was going to eliminate high glycemic carbs this month, but she was eating Barilla pasta and this worked for her. What to do, what to do. The dietician on the show told her to eat as little protein as possible to stay low fat. This is getting really confusing. No oils either...even the good ones.
Anyway, it was food for thought, no pun intended. Of course, she exercised for the first time too in a gym regularly.
Another reason to get back to the gym as soon as possible.

FIT TV - I've been hearing alot about that. Interesting about the cholesterol lowering that lady did with the stir fry veggies & pasta.
