(((((Lori)))))

I can't help make winter go away any faster, but I'm hearin' you. A thought about that meltdown - if you have it outdoors, maybe it'll melt some of the snow....

Hugs,

Donna

((((Susan))))

Tropical paradise, huh? Cabana boys and pretty drinks with paper umbrellas and a big kick? Wouldn't you miss all the excitement at home? What would you do with yourself?

Weather and all, I hope today's a better day for you...

Hugs,

Donna

My gf (she owns a horse farm in town) is taking off with her family for TWO WEEKS to Hawaii this week.

Good luck with the letter.Let us know about any response you get.I didn't watch much of the Super Bowl and missed the halftime show, such as it was.But frankly some of the commercials I saw I thought were tasteless. And some of the other things besides the Janet Jackson fiasco that were a part of the halftime show sounded tasteless to me.I'm glad there has been such an uproar of disapproval over it all.I hate to think of when the time comes that nothing phases us any more.I have alot of respect for the owners wife for taking a stand on things and sticking with it.

Hope you enjoy the parade.

Hope your nephew is feeling better.

Miss P

Thanks, Patty. The little guy called me at work yesterday - he's sounding like his little sweet self, so that antibiotic must be working its magic. Thank goodness - my sister scared me when she called Sunday.

Just got back from the parade. A wild, fun, and happy scene, reminiscent of 2 years ago. A bunch of kids sang "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin" to two of the Boston officers doing crowd control. Lots of "We Are the Champions" choruses. The church bells rang "America the Beautiful" and "Ode to Joy" at noon. I pretty much planted myself in position and refused to be moved. Had a good viewing spot. Got a good look at and chance to cheer the players on the trucks. Got a full-on look at the lovely and talented Mr. Brady - my goodness, if you think he's good-looking on tv, you ain't seen nuthin'! He is incredibly handsome, and that smile is a mile wide and not pasted on. He seems so genuinely nice and humble and unselfish in his praise for his teammates and his happiness over their successes. As exhausted as the players all must be by now, they're enjoying this; not a frown on their faces. Even Coach Belichick had a grin from ear to ear. Lots of video taping by them, and I might be on the video in Deion Branch's camera. Don't worry - it's not embarrassing.

OK, enough of the eye-witness report. I'm trying to log onto boston.com or bostonchannel.com to watch the rally at City Hall Plaza but it's so jammed it keeps crashing. Oh, well. Back to work.

Poor Susan - kind of know how you feel about the work thing & the kid thing, although I only have 1 kid. I hope your ds doesn't have anything seriously wrong with him! Hernia's are no fun, I hear.

Hope you get some rest and those household chores get done magically (hey, that's what I need to wish for me!).

Hugs,

Kat

Texas and I am here for ya', Booty! Although, I warn ya', Texas ain't warm enough for me, these days. We don't get much snow in these here parts, though, I'll warrant that, little lady!

I hope you do have a meltdown soon & it warms up for you!

LoL...I understood every word. My BIL lives near Round Rock and has for years. He denies it, but he has picked up a bit of an accent and I think it's charming. And I mean it. If I could find a job down there, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
