Good morning all.

We're expecting more snow today. !@#%@$#$! Up to 8 inches more starting this afternoon and ending sometime tomorrow. Why not make two days in a row miserable driving weather? I'm sick of driving in this yuck. Bleh.

Had a super workout last night at Jazzercise. I just love my tuesday night instructor. Today's workout is at the gym. I think I might try another little trot on the treadmill and see where that takes me...probably not far I know, but I'm gonna try it anyway. With the snow coming today, I just don't feel like driving across town for a class. And I'll probably dig out a yoga tape for this evening.

Life at work is stressful to say the least. My boss is gone today and tomorrow...YAY! I like my boss just fine, but he's really getting on my nerves lately. So much to do that I can't remember it all. Sometimes I can't remember any of it. I feel like I'm getting lost in the details....

Have a great day!

We have a break in the winter weather today. Then tomorrow night more snow and sleet head our way.Plus there is the possibility of flooding when/if it turns to rain..I have my fingers crossed for a hot dry summer.

Yesterdays workout was weights and a run.My run felt hard and slow so I think I'm taking the day off. May do something different or a LB workout, we'll see.

Having girlfriends in for lunch.Really looking forward to that.I even cleaned house yesterday. Why can't my kitchen table stay cleared off????

15 min project is getting some veggies cut up and baking some cookies.

Booty, I hope you get a break in the weather soon.I know how you feel!!!!!Michele , I hope you and DS are feeling better. And to everyone I hope your Wednesday is wonderful and something special happens to each of you.

Taking a break from workouts today. The temps are going up to 43 or so and I would love to get out for a powerwalk to the lake and back but it just doesn't work into the schedule today :(

It looks like my workout will be arguing with a back-talking daughter. Some days she just doesn't get it that I'm the mom and I get the last word, period. Of course, she is just like her mom so it can turn into a one-up struggle. Like this morning.

Callin' for more foul weather moving back in tomorrow. DH comes home late tomorrow night from Mississippi.

I'm pretty tired of winter. My entire body is one big flake. No matter how much I moisturize or with what, my skin is still so dry. Including my face, lips and scalp now. I feel like slipping into a vat of vaseline and doing a few laps. I'm drinking tons of water. Come on Spring!

Hope y'all have a great day. Looks like I'm more into complain' today than workin' out. Tomorrow is another day :)

Good Morning,

Looks like more than one of us is looking forward to spring. Yesterday's rain left huge puddles that haven't been able to drain because of the clogged street drains and it was just cold enough over night to freeze things over and leaving streets and sidewalks looking like water when in fact it's sheer ice. If you manage to walk on it without slipping there are places where you just go right through it and end up ankle deep in water. And snow and ice supposedly headed our way tomorrow night into Friday. Just to add to never ending excitement we had four helicopters hovering in the air about 1/2 mile from the house this morning...not sure what that was all about but kind of scary.

Well not that I've b***ched and moaned a bit on to the good things for the day. Workout was 30 minutes on the treadmill for 2.22 miles and weights. Eating has been holding it's own for the past few days in spite of this representative from a Dr's office that we deal with and every couple of weeks she shows up carrying a box of cookies with her. I cringe every time I see her coming with her little white box. Again, I'm hoping for a few conscious hours this evening to maybe clean out my inbox that like the laundry is again overflowing.

Off to unload, reload, wash and dry before the other work day begins.

Hope your Wednesday is a Winter Wonderland of good things.

Haven't decided between Cardio or Body Sculpt. Mom's Morning Out today, but I might not want to do the longer Cardio routine. I'll get abs work in.

Ear infection is just about gone, thanks to early detection and a Z-pack that's still working. I'm tired of the runny nose, though!

I will read the rest of the posts later. I went to WW last night and unfortunatly the scale was up 2 pounds. Now I should be depressed (well I am sort of) but I am not going to let it stop me. I can't. I went to Curves yesterday and Monday and this morning I am going to do my 2 mile walking tape. Writing in my WW tracker and staying focused. Busy day for me. MIL is coming at 10 to color my hair. I need to pay some bills and run to the bank. I think I will stock up on some Deb food to help out. Katie has riding today at 4:30 and the we have Girl Scouts at 7. Some place inbetween I need to clean this house, strip my bed. Do the laundry, and change the filters on the fish tanks.

I have talked about journeling and never do it. I bought a diary a few years ago and then put it away, time to dust it off and start writting again.

Good morning!

40 degrees - beach weather!!! Just gotta chip a little left-over ice out of the way and set my blanket down.....

Dinner with my friend got cancelled last night because we were afraid of what driving conditions were going to become. Got home, talked over the day's events with DH, watched a little rehash on TV, and hit the dungeon. Had a really good workout - complete, about 2 hours' worth, and very effective. Really good cardio work - made up for the ho-hum night before.

Tonight will be cardio - at the mall. I am a woman on a mission - I need a plain black leather handbag. I ran through the stores on the way to the train last night - I found ugly bags, really tiny bags, really oversized bags, fake fur bags, cheesy vinyl/plastic bags, childish bags, backpacks galore, and a properly-sized bag that I liked that cost $1,050! I thought the tag said $105; really glad I looked at the pricetag again before I fell in love with it and brought it to the counter to ring up.

Actually, I will hit the treadmill again tonight when we get home. It'll be late, but not later than 10 pm. I'm trying to stretch some of the running intervals to 1.5 min each - never thought adding 30 seconds here and there would be so difficult.

15-minite task - oh, let's face it, I'm a loser at finishing any chores at home in 15 minutes during the evenings. I'm waiting 'til the weekend to do all of them.

Phyllis - regarding the horseback ride at Biltmore. Sounds lovely, but I'm only planning on being in Asheville through Sunday and I'm packing light. No room for boots - and frankly I don't want to sit on a plane after being on a horse for a couple hours.

Have a great day, everyone! Hope the weather breaks for all of you experiencing cold, ice, and rain...

Donna
