Good morning! Just got back from taking Rob to school. We left a little early, so was able to whiz right on through the school and head back home.

I have an exciting day planned (at least in my book). I'm going to a luncheon meeting at the "other" Rep. women's club to see MY candidate for U.S. Senate speak. Several of the members from our club and my mom are going, so I'll get to see them too. I'm going to join as an alternate member. This afternoon, he is having a fundraiser at a nice restaurant

Good Morning.

Really tired this morning. My workouts haven't been up to par lately...could be it. Or are my workouts not up to par because I'm so tired? Always a nasty circle, isn't it?

Thankfuls. Haven't received report cards yet, but heard from DD's teacher that her grades are up, except for one, and she passed everything. Her attitude has also really changed. She's starting to feel more confident and we can see her self-esteem rising. Truly a thankful and a blessing and a relief. Still trying to figure out what the real problem is. Also thankful that DH is coming home today.

Workout today. Hitting the treadmill this morning. Will also do abs, squats and lunges. Busy at the office today.

Hugs.

Sassy

Good morning to you!

We're a balmy 23 degrees this morning. It's a novelty not being in the single digits or less. I could get used to this. Snow is still there though....

Today's workout? I don't think there will be a workout today. My body is achy from last night's workout and I think I will just take a rest day. Besides, I have laundry to finish and a couple other 15 minute projects that will take longer than that.

Thankfuls?

1. The snow seems to have gone around us for the most part and we only have about and inch on top of what we had already. They're callin' for maybe 3 inches so that makes me thankful since the original plan called for up to 12 more inches.

2. America is such an interesting and entertaining place to live. I'm thankful for the freedom that lets me see the things that happen in our world uncensored.

3. Geeky safty glasses. Splashed a bunch of nasty acid around yesterday afternoon and they saved my eyeballs. Pretty thankful for that.

Have a goo day everyone!

Morning,

Yes, thankful for so many things: Family, health, friends on the board...co-workers and my students.

I agree my workouts haven't been up to par due to this darn cold...so today, I will take another day off.

Good Morning,

Workout complete for the day-threw in a kickboxing video this morning for some diversity and squats and lunges for the other 30 minutes.

Rest of the day pretty much the same as the 3 days prior-unload, reload, fold, wash, dry work, dinner, cleanup and then collapse. I'm in a bit of a funk since last night and a bit on the cranky side this morning.

Thankfuls-warm house, warm covers, and ice melt.

Hope your day is a good one.

Sheesh!!!!I looked at the calendar and realized this month has an extra day in it.29 days of February followed by 31 days of March!!I need a plan of action to get thru this.If I get thru the next two months without constant whining and moaning and diving head first into a red velvet cake I may reward myself with something fun.Hmm, what could it be....George always seems fun.....

I'm not sure what's up for a workout today. I should do it before going back to CL but not sure I'm ready to put enough umph in it.But if I put it off it may not get done.Decisions, decisions!!!!I'll get back to you on this one.

15 min project might be baking some bread and going to see my MIL.It's been awhile since I've done that.

Thankful for my friends and my family.

Ok, I'm off to look for a robin before the next winter event comes thru.Have a wonderful day everyone!

I'm thankful that I'm back in the swing of things! Ear infection gone, on the last of my decongestants, Allison went to Mom's Morning Out yesterday, she had a make-up class for gymnastics, we both returned to choir last night (had no idea I was missed by so many people!), *and* I returned to exercising after a week and a half. I ended up running a mile while Allison was in gymnastics - probably a bit too fast a pace, for my hip is sore this morning again after being almost back to normal - doing abs work, and managing 12 pushups from the toes. Not much in the way of time, but intense for the time I put in. For once, too, my eating for the day was a "1", a good day. Both the exercise and proper eating were very much needed, especially after being at MIL's where food is abundant!

I must also say I'm thankful of getting back into "The Purpose Driven Life". Today's chapter (for me) was restoring broken relationships, and it spoke deeply to me. Now I'm praying for courage to tackle some things.

For a workout today, I'll get in Body Sculpt to help loosen that hip joint and to get in upper body weight work, plus more abs work.

I'm thankful for so much.

That yesterday, I got to go for a 21km bikeride.

That I've been asked, out of the blue, to do a new technical edit.

That I get to chair a panel at a conference at Oxford in April.

That I get to go to Rome with my beloved for Valentine's day.

That I have a wonderful, romantic incredible sweetheart.

That I got to talk with my beautiful kids, for whom I'm incredibly thankful.

Life is good.

My 15 minute project today was clearing off the top of the dresser in the bedroom.

Workout - I should do abs today. We'll see how I'm feeling. I wasn't feeling up for it earlier...
