So how's your day gone?Sounds like alot of us are tired and sick of winter weather!!!
I got out my step and had a fun workout today.Put in a jammin to the oldies cassette and worked out to that.Really hope the siding guys couldn't see the crazy lady stepping and dancing her way thru the living room!It was fun and brought my mood up a few notches.
It's hard to believe but the siding guys are finishing up today!!!Kevin said his heart is breaking to leave this job.LOL So they are packing up and now the guttering guys are here.I'm hoping they finish today too.Next week I have guys coming in to work in CL.Never a dull moment. But thankfully these won't be right outside my windows. So next week my life gets back to normal, sorta.
Hope everyone is having a good day.Who wants to head to a sunny island with me?????

I gave my step away...thought it was too hard on my knees.
So far, so good. No major catastrophes yet and I'm almost ready to go home. I'm looking forward to my power lounge evening with da bears.
Went back over to fitday.com today and entered my food into the diary thingy. Gads, I eat too much. But I'm trying to do better today. Not much better, but some better. I need to find something other than M&M's for afternoon break although I'm sick to death of fruit. I can't wait for the summer fruit season! There must be a way to make fruit taste like chocolate....
I'm thinking of a nice grilled chicken dinner tonight with a nice, starchy baked potato to go with it. I'm bad, I know.

It was 81 and partly sunny here a few minutes ago when I was out, so I can't complain. Well, actually I can complain about Aunt Flo showing up yesterday, so today is the worst! I can't ever seem to go anywhere special without her tagging along. Where is that pink witch icon???
The lunch I went to was so good. Bill McCollum was a congressman for 20 years and is an expert on anti-terrorism. His talk was awesome! We had a great crowd at our table from our club, plus a new guy from Washington (but originally from Tallahassee), and the first VP of the Rep. Party here in town. Most of my day has revolved around getting ready, going there, being there, and coming home or getting related things done on the computer. I'll be getting ready to head out again before long for his Senate campaign fundraiser at a restaurant about 14 miles from here. Should be good.
I made a casserole for Tim and Rob last night, so they can just stick that in the oven tonight.

Restoration Hardware strikes again! I HATE that company. Headboard saga not quite done yet - they now admit they cancelled my order in error, but rather than tell me that in e-mail, they replaced the cancelled order for my headboard with a new order without informing me of that, either! Guess what shows up today in my credit card bill? I've spent the better part of my abbreviated evening on the phone with them and insisting that they issue a credit immediately. Seems that can't do that quite as quickly as they can put the charge on, since the item is in transit from the warehouse. But the guy I talked to is working on it. He'd better be. If anything from that company shows up on my doorstep, I'm thinking of throwing it on a bonfire and toasting marshmallows.
Then I call the credit card company to get a dispute action going. Gotta fill out a form and write a ream of paper in explanation because no one's gonna believe the simple version of this story.
To make it more interesting, the credit card also has the charge on it from Ballard Design, the smaller, less-well-known company that can fill a custom furnishing order correctly and faster than RH can fix a paper problem. According to my credit card, we have upholstered headboards coming out of our ears.
The thing is, none of this will matter in about 5 hours. I'll calm down and just wait for the resolution. So....
Please pardon my rant - this evening can't be history soon enough.
