TGIF! Wish I had a bigger font and bright colors to put that one in.

This week has been hectic and hellish at work, snowy and crappy outside and crabby and depressing inside. But DH is doing very well at his effort to stop smoking and I'm very proud of him. He hasn't cheated once in over 3 weeks now. What a guy, I knew he could do it.

I, on the other hand, have been cheating like crazy! Can't stop eating and apparently very little desire to try. I dunno what I'm gonna do.

Today's workout is probably going to be elbowing my way through the grocery store. With the crappy weather, it's sure to be a treat. But I have prescriptions to fill so I'd better get at it tonight. I may stop off at Jazzercise first...that's sure to keep the burgeoning throngs at bay in the store!

Have a goo day everyone.

Today I *must* do the Body Sculpt! I skipped exercising yesterday - too bad, because my eating day was a "1". Today we'll do our usual Friday take-out, and that's never as low-fat, less-filling as I can cook.

I gotta take a look at our taxes. I've got a spreadsheet where I drop numbers in, and every year I just revise the form for changed limits and deleted or added items. Before doing that, I've got to sort through financial papers sitting upstairs. All in all, that'll be my weekend project.

Okay...this is getting ridiculous! The kids are out of school again. I need a break. Or...is this my break...no running around, no stressing at the office (because I can't get there)...hmmmmmmm. I think it's all a matter of how you look at things. Thanks Dr. Phyll for the reminder!

Completely blowing off a workout today. And I feel good about it. I have a trillion other things that I want to do and I am going to do them today. Period. End of discussion. No excuses. One of those things is my devotional/bible study. Heading in to work on that in a minute.

New washer is being delivered today. The kids have mega chores to work on. DH got my latte for me this morning. Received a special chicken birthday card yesterday that made my day. God is testing me left and right and I recognize it and I'm listening and I'm doing. My family is healthy. I have wonderful friends, those I hug regularly and some I wouldn't recognize their voice if they phoned. Alan Jackson is cranking on the stereo.

Life is good!

Hugs, ladies.

Sassy

Hmmm Phyllis, with the grey days and rain here, it actually effects people with a disorder.

So picture this; in a castle in a faraway land is a Princess home alone. There are no men, strange or otherwise, outside her house. And inside her house candles are lit, peace surrounds her, as does some of her favorite foods!!!!!Man, sometimes life is just way too good!!!!

My house looks beautiful.Linen siding and green shutters, so pretty. The guys, all 5 of them, took me around to look it over. They were so proud of their work. They even put guttering around my dormers, which they thought was such a nice touch. Is there anything cuter than a tough bunch of guys who are tickled pink over their work????

I have struggled to find a positive to these lingering last winter months. It finally came to me!!!My 3 inch big girl high heel boots!!Can't wear those in July.I never wear heels anymore but I'm thinking I need to find me some big girl summer heels.I know, I know it's not technically happiness from within but sometimes I have to start from the outside :)

Am I suppose to be posting about fitness???My calves are killing me from yesterdays step workout!!!May do that again or maybe the treadmill. We'll see which calls to me today.Or maybe my time would be better spent building an ark for the floods that are heading my way.I'm crossing my fingers that all the moisture gets used up before summer gets here, leaving nothing but sunshine for then.

Hope everyone who has the snow and ice heading their way stays warm, dry and safe.Donna, what a long day you had yesterday!!!!!Hope today is better and shorter. And really hope the headboard thing gets resolved soon.

Ok, so how many was that on board for the tropical island getaway with me?????

I think most of us are effected by the gray wintery days. I know that I definitely am. Depression runs in my family as well. I know that I get the blues. I know there are some days that I just can't snap out of it. There are some days that I can just say s***w this...I'm tired of being tired and unhappy!

I have all of the things you purchased except the muffin pan and that is one thing I'm thinking I would like to get. Enjoy and use regularly!

Hugs.

Sassy

P.S. Deb. You are one of the most consistently happy, perky, cheerful, encouraging, active women I know. I really wish you would consider coming to Asheville in October. It will not be the same if you are not there and I so want to meet you and give you the biggest hug!

Deb, I have the big stone for pizza and love it. Also have a medium dish that I love to do veggies in with olive oil, so good.Have the neat little slicer to do veggies with and love to do my cucumbers with it. Just kind of dresses up a salad.Never been to a party but bet it would be fun.

Sassy--there are some things that happen when you don't work v. work.
