Ok, who can believe it's the start of another work week??And who's ready for it?I just wanted to stay in bed today!I can't believe we're going into the 2nd week of February.

So what's on your schedule for today?A tough day at work or an quiet day?Anyone planning something yummy for dinner???:)

Are you working out today?Trying something new or sticking with what works for you.

I think I'll hit my treadmill. No much up here today.I'll just wait and see if something incredibly exciting happens.

Lori, hope your car starts.Grace, we're waiting to hear!!!!!BNL, I miss you on board.Everyone have a happy healthy Monday!!!!

Happy to say I'm having a productive morning. I'm on my 2nd load of laundry, took Rob to school, emptied trash cans, cleaned up the garage some, cleaned litter boxes, swept leaves off the driveway and sidewalk by the garage door, and had my bowl of 1/2 low fat cottage cheese, 1/2 low fat vanilla yogurt, and fresh blueberries (really enjoy that).

The Comcast guy should be here between 8 and 11 to reconnect Rob's cable outlet, so I'm stuck here until he shows.

Brett (our youngest) is home sick this morning. Just as well...I'm dragging myself and he'll be my excuse to stick around here and get some things done instead of the Monday rush at the office.

My unused tennis playing muscles are still letting me know they were overused, but not bad enough to stop a workout. So....today I'll hit the treadmill and then the floor for abs. Will give the arms and shoulders one more day of rest. Tomorrow, though, it is back to business for them, too.

Food....I'm so tired of worrying about, thinking about, trying to avoid, etc., food. I'm starting to hate food. All I know is that I'm avoiding all white stuff today. That's my mission. Maybe today is a good day to clean out my fridge and freezer, figure out what I have, what I need and wash everything down. That will be my 15 minute project (times 4, most likely).

You ARE in the groove this morning, Rhonda :) Tee shirts and jeans...sounds like heaven! I hated Florida when I lived there and couldn't wait to head back home to Virginia, but his time of year...I think I could really get used to it! Maybe after the first good snow here, I should head to Florida!

Sounds like you're going to get a lot done there today. Post those digital photos as soon as you get them!

Hugs.

Yep it's Monday-oh where do these weekends go? I did my 30 minutes of cardio this morning and another 30 minutes lower body workout, and a good walk with Otto after dinner. I have some catching up to do around here before heading out to work. Chicken caccitore is on the menu for this evening's dinner.

That's my day-hope yours is a good one.

Yep, car started just fine about 5:30 Saturday afternoon...long after my errands and such could be done but I was pretty happy anyway. Just a little ice in the fuel line is all. Dodged that bullet. Sorry I was so fussy about it, but it really messed up my whole day.

Caught both a body sculpting class and a Jazzercise class yesterday and I am feeling it. Feels sorta good in a masochistic kinda way. Tonight is yoga. Not sure yet if I'll get out my tape or head to the yoga studio. Decisions....decisions....

Supper? Who can think about supper with breakfast still in my belly? It will probably be lentil soup and fruit...I dunno yet. I got a really nice pineapple at the store the other day and it is FABULOUS! I love fresh pineapple...

Have a super duper ally ooper day!

Good morning, all!

We had a power outage during the night - no apparent reason, just one of those flukey things. We didn't get out of the house until after 7:30, ran into a traffic mess, and I got here around 9 am. I'll be hanging around tonight until at least 6 to make up, in all likelihood until 7:30 or so. The comp time just keeps on building - eventually, if all goes right and there aren't Monday deadlines for a while, I'll be able to leave work early for a few Fridays or else schedule my annual medical stuff without digging into my accrued time.

I had a very low-energy weekend. I didn't do much organized exercise, but I did a lot of cleaning around the house. That felt good and the house looks neat. I'll head back to the dungeon this evening; I don't know if it'll be for cardio only or cardio/weights/abs. I'll see what time it is when I get home and go from there.

Dinner - I don't know yet. Maybe lentil soup and tuna salad. Maybe a surprise from the many styrofoam boxes in there!

Phyllis - Hope you can bounce back quickly. Deb - Glad you and Eric are feeling more like yourselves.

Have a good day, everyone!

Good morning.

Touch wood! It seems that I am the only one left with a touch of a cold around here and everyone else is finally healthy. This means ds will be in kindergarten for the morning. Dh has calls to do and I will finally get back to some semblance of routine! Planning on getting 1/2 hour in on the stairclimber this morning and I'd love to do some weights. I'll see how I feel after the cardio. Eating last week was a bit hit and miss. Didn't have much of an appetite, but some garbage did manage to sneak in when I did eat, so I'm planning on getting on top of it this week. On the bright side, I was so darn dehydrated from this bug that I drank lots of water!!

Dh was a dear and picked up the slack on the housework while I was under the weather, so today is going to be a "light" cleaning day. A load of laundry to put away, plants to water and toys to put in their home. Should be a piece of cake!! Oooops! There I go again! :o)

Haven't even thought about dinner. But, I did clean the barbeque the other day, so I'm thinking some grilled salmon might be awfully tasty!

Have a great day ladies!

I was debating whether or not to do my cardio tape today. I ran yesterday along with abs/thigh work and pushups. I might rest today - my legs still sore from the Body Sculpt on Saturday - and do Body Sculpt tomorrow again. "Rest" still means abs work, though!

Am I strange if I'm glad it's Monday and things will be back to normal (i.e. Eric going off to work, three hours of Jazzercise for me)?
