Cussette:

Thanks for posting "I asked God". I love it! You've just reminded me of one more thing I'm thankful for:

All of you! All my wonderful friends on this great board. Thank you all for being here, for me and for each other.

Lori, I like your Thankful #3. I just enjoyed a cup watching "Scooby Doo" with my kid. (Am I lazy or what?!)

I'm thankful that I came to check in for the morning (although it's 345) and found that beautiful beach scene Phyllis.

I read your posts and sit and think....my but reading about my life here in the midwest must be boring after reading your posts.

Having someone to be in love with for 32 years and still enjoying each other's company sounds pretty darned romantic to me.

Nancy:

There are two kinds of romance to me. The first is firey and passionate...you want to tell the world about your love and shower him with gifts. It's overt and leaves you feeling giddy. The second is subtle and comes with time...a knowing glance, a secret smile from across the room, a comfortable silence...only the span of time it takes to get to know your mate makes those things extra special. 32 years is a long time to be with one person. Congratulations on a match well made.

You've been through a lot together in 30+ years. Romance is made of memories AND anticipation of the future. I hope in 12 or so more years my DH and I are in the same wonderful boat you and your DH find yourselves in. Got any room?

Don't forget to smell the flowers.....
