Super Sweetheart Saturday

Love is in the air.

Somewhere, I'm sure.

Happy Saturday. I feel like a million pounds are lifted off my shoulders now that the official work week is over. So, why couldn't I sleep last night? Woke up around 4. Finally got up around 6:00. My reward? One of the most beautiful sunrises. Blues, pinks, purples, yellows. Absolutely gorgeous!

Workout today? ABS-SO-LUTELY! Powerwalk to the lake and back. Shoulders, biceps and triceps, too.

Major picking up around here today. Have a cleaning crew coming in Monday afternoon to give my house a "Spring Cleaning". Then I'll have them come every two weeks to maintain and do special projects. So sick of the way my house looks. Need to get back to the painting and decorating and decluttering.

Man...the sunrise outside my window keeps getting better and better! The colors are amazing this morning. God is definitely letting me know His decorating is the BEST decorating.

Hugs!

Sassy

Some kind of cardio for me. It's rainy and won't get much above 40-degress today, so that leaves running out for me. I'll run in rain when it's in the 70s or 80s, but not 40s. I'll endure some things but not misery in the rain!

We haven't decided yet where to eat. We'll be going out around 2-3pm, for past experience has told us that Valentine's on the weekends make it impossible to get into a restaurant at night, and so few (except the really upscale ones) take reservations.

Happy Valentines day, everyone!

It's suppose to be nice here today so hoping to catch up with my sister for a walk.Rest of the day is cleaning, chickens, laundry and whatever.

I watched the DR who wrote the South Beach diet book on tv last night. He was really big on veggies and fruit. Got my book out and while I know I could never follow it perfectly I was surprised at all the good meals and snacks it has.I wrote down what I should bring in to my diet and what needs to go out.So now that it's on paper all that's left to do is put it in action.......

Sassy, the cleaning crew sounds great!Hope you can relax and enjoy yourself this weekend.Hope everyone has a super day!

Good Morning and Happy Valentine's Day

Workout has been completed. 30 minute walk/run on the treadmill and lower body. DS in his typical 18 year old male fashion said my arms actually looked like they are losing that jingle jangle stuff and the biceps didn't look too bad either-guess that can be taken as a compliment!

Nothing much on the agenda today other than hoping for a clean and tidy house by day's end. Much to do since we weren't home last Saturday to get anything done and it certainly looks that way.

Phyllis, love Romance-one of my favorite fragrances. Johnny done good :)

Off to the shower and let the clean up begin.

Hope you all enjoy a Super Sweetheart Day!

Talk about your romantic...DH and oldest DS were "sneaking" around trying to measure our bedroom door. DS said something about heading out now to get the door and DH yelled back, "say it a little louder why don't ya? I wanted it to be a surprise for mom!" Yes, some people get flowers and CD walkman and dinners out and a movie from their DH. I get to dig out grout and caulk in my shower while MY DH is out getting my "surprise"...a new door for my bedroom. Sorry, ladies, but he's taken!

Actually, our door has never shut properly and is actually splitting so I welcome a new door, but there darn well better be a card and at least 1 red carnation somewhere along the way today!
