Love the heading for today!Makes you feel anything is possible!

I have a pretty quiet day planned. The usual CL work. About another week with these 2 houses then back to 4 again.

The last 2 wks with my workouts I've gotten variety in and less mileage. But this week I may stick with running only and try to get more miles in.That seems to be what works best for me, we'll see.I brought my hand weights downstairs yesterday and hope that will encourage me to use them often.

Today will be another day of conquering the ever present food issue.I'm going to keep doing it til I get it right!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Got our MOMS group at church this morning (Making Our Motherhood Special), similar to MOPS but for whatever reason, our founders didn't want to be a part of MOPS. So we have a Bible Study and one of our church members who writes children's books will be coming in to share as well.

Today, vacuuming and cleaning the bathrooms. Will get in Cardio Sculpt with abs work, too, though I may not do the whole Cardio tape (pushing the vacuum and 3/4 squats while cleaning gets some workout in!).

I'll have to make it to the grocery store after deciding what to have for dinner, plus I'll be making snacks for Allison's Mom's Morning Out class tomorrow.

Good Morning,

Slight bit of trouble getting back into the workday routine. With Three days of extra time under covers it wasn't so easy listening to the 5:15 alarm. I actually didn't arrive in the basement until almost 6AM but still managed to get in my 30 minutes of a good walk/run on the treadmill. I'm supposed to be meeting my literacy student this evening and I've been working hard to find things to add some variety and interest to the lesson plans-just like a lot of things it was getting in a rut but think we've found some new areas of interest.

Other than that the laundry chute is once again overflowing and I know it's time to get that washer going because there's no clean undies left in the drawer!

Hope your possibilities for 2uesday are good ones. Enjoy your day.

Today I am home and planning on doing a 'whirlwind' job in the house...vaccume, dust, sweep, etc.

Hi, everyone!

Back from avoiding the computer all weekend. I had a lot to do in all areas of life, so I just stuck my nose in it and did it. No workouts for 3 days - but really awesome healthy eating all weekend, so I don't think I did any damage to my previous weight loss, just delayed losing any more for a while.

We caught up with laundry, all the filing, shredding, and tax organizing; we're ready to fill out the worksheet and send it to the accountant within the next couple of weeks. PLUS, the mail brought great news. My former company settled the employee stock ownership plan since declaring bankruptcy and being bought by another company several years ago. While I expected my settlement to be about the cost of our groceries for a month, I was elated by the package that came in the mail. Now I have to fill out paperwork to direct the windfall into a rollover IRA. Considering my expectations, this is indeed a very nice problem to have.

We finally made the jump to digital photography. Staples had a decent deal on a Nikon CoolPix 4300, which is one of the two models I had been interested in - a rebate, plus a free 128MB flash card. The only deal approaching it had been through web companies I'm not familiar with, so this was another positive development. Now I have another manual to read and new software to learn. When did fun stuff get so complicated??

DH and I took a break Monday and went to Cape Cod for the day. We couldn't do a whole lot of walking around or picture taking without mittens on - the deep freeze and high winds are back - but it was a fun day. We dropped into one of the Christmas Tree Shops on the Cape (Sassy, I thought of you while I was there) and stocked up on shower curtain liners, new steak knives, Piroline hazelnut-cream filled cookies (these are not SBD friendly), and garlic-sesame breadsticks that aren't labeled "low-carb", but are very low in sugar and total carbs (also low in fiber, but what the heck - they have sesame seeds). We had an early dinner at our favorite place and headed home.

Rhonda, your great nieces are precious - thanks for posting the pics. Lori 82004, welcome to the board, and happy belated birthday!

Have a super day!

Donna

Good morning, ladies. My computer is still at the computer tech's office - I will call him today to see how long it will be - had some Trojan Horse problem. He's installing Norton Anti-Virus, Google Anti-popup thingy, and Ad-Aware (to catch those pesky spyware thingys). Hope it doesn't cost an arm & a leg.

My eating was very good yesterday & I will try for another good one today. I've been so busy with everything - both jobs, meetings & single mom things to try to solve. I'm praying about all of this. . .

Have to work tonight & had an early morning apptmt. so no workout again! I hate it, but such is my life. I only get 6 hrs. sleep as Dillard's keeps us there late at night, lately, to ready for corporate visits. Wish corporate people would replace flooring! One good thing - I passed my review without a paycut & my sales per hour quota was lowered some.

Have a lovely day!

Sandwich is the first town on Cape Cod once you get over the Sagamore Bridge. If you get off of Route 6 and onto Route 6A, you'll pass through my favorite parts of the Cape on the north side along a 2-lane "highway", to use the term loosely. Very leisurely, no one making like they're at Indy (unlike Route 6). The water is kind of chilly on the north side of the Cape so even in summer the beaches are not exactly spa-like, but the towns are charming and small, with lots of historic homes and sites along the way and creative craft shops, incredible antique stores, good restaurants that aren't part of a chain, etc. We're very lucky that it's close enough to get to on short notice - except in the dead of summer, when everyone's down there and it's as hectic as the city at rush hour.
