A Hello and a few questions

Hello, I'm looking for an active and lively board to join for women in their middle ages, interested in full and heatlhy living.

I don't konw if this is that type of place, but I did notice the very Christian messages in the one main section on the board.

Is this a Christian board? That's certainly not for me and the messages Roll Call made me ask.

Thanks

I echo what Margie & Michele posted to you about the Purpose Driven Life and I also welcome you. We are very busy women, but try to find time to pursue a healthful life with workouts and good eating. Hope to see more posts from you and learn more about you.

Welcome,

Kat

Welcome livymoon! We are a bit on the lively side from time to time.

Not all of us are participating in the discussions about Christianity. It certainly is not what I would term a 'Christian' board although many of our members are...I am not and I seem to fit in ok most of the time...LoL.

It's good to have you here and I hope to get to know you better soon.

Hi Livvy! You've definitely found a board for women with full lives and interested in healthy living - exercise and healthier diets is why most of us are here.

Not shy to say I'm one of the Christian women here, and I'm glad to have a public place to come where I'm not told to cork it ;^). The women here are from all walks and interests, and no matter what their background, you'll find support and genuine caring and concern. As for the Christian women here, that's true as well, for we humbly recognize that we have a wonderful Example that we follow.

Hope to see you here regularly. Just jump in on the threads that interest you!

There are some Christian women on this board. There are also other faiths as well. I am Wiccan. I tend to accept that those who wish to discuss how their faith helps them lead healthier lives have just as much place here as those who discuss the latest diet trend, the great recipe they found or anything else that helps us be active, caring, healthy women.

Welcome to the board. There are a lot of great women here. I've been on several boards on ivillage and elsewhere but keep coming back here because this is the board that feels like home.

Hi, Livymoon - welcome aboard! I echo what Anna said so well. We talk about anything and everything. And this board does indeed feel like home. Hope you'll feel the same way.
