Re fitness:
I felt more from one class this am, than the three yesterday, but yesterday I was still in some kind of fog.

I know it's a possibility that the treadmill was not my friend today-left hip is crying tonight.
It's also possible that temptations galore got in my way and into my mouth.
And yes husbands are good since mine told me to leave the clean up to him.

Got my SUV load of clothes and shoes taken over to the thrift store today, so that's a relief. I think the guy was in shock when I pulled around back to unload. LOL!
We have a very slight chance of some snow flurries later tonight. It's such a big deal that the TV stations are asking people to take videos if they see any. No way it will stick. It sure is damp and chilly though.
O'Reilly is supposed to give his opinion of "The Passion" on his show tonight. He was going to see it last night.
Found out Sean Hannity is coming here next month and you can win tickets from a radio station, so I signed up for that. I've been working with my candidate's campaign to set up a dinner at a bar-b-que restaurant here for his return 3/1. It's 2 doors down from Rep. Headquarters, so that works out well.

Had a good workout tonight - it probably felt good because I took the 3-day weekend off. Good weights, good cardio, good stretching. And good eating again today. Can I brag here? I think that "good eating" is finally becoming a habit. Sure, I want a cookie, or some cake or pie or choc mousse or a lemon-filled donut (Dunkin Donuts, please!) once in a while, but a few bites once in a while, not daily, are all I need. What I used to put away daily in the high-sugar/high-carb category is scary now, and I consider myself lucky that I've so far avoided one of the health issues that so many of my family members developed during their lives - type 2 diabetes. They never took any steps to change their habits, so I figure I'm ahead of them that way.
OK - enough bragging. Deb - I notice you said something about "bad" sourdough bread. I don't think sourdough is all that bad. It has something to do with its acidity; even SBD talks about having some sourdough if there's no whole-grain bread varieties around.
Time for my shower. Which means bedtime is not too far away....

You are DOING great with no longer desiring sweets.
Bill McCollum is my candidate for U. S. Senate. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for 20 years, but lost in his 2000 bid for the Senate against former astronaut Bill Nelson, a Democrat. Bill McCollum is an expert on anti-terrorism activities, among other things, so he is really the right man at the right time. He met privately for 3 hours solid with former Pres. Nixon in the early 90's to discuss the situation. In spite of some shortcomings, Nixon was a master at foreign relations, and he predicted back then that the Middle East would be the problem for us, not Russia or China. In the first chapter of the book, Losing Bin Laden, it refers to McCollum's work quite a bit.
So far, no snow. It was just a minute chance. On the rare occasions when it does happen, the entire city's phone system goes "tilt" from everyone calling everyone else to make sure they don't miss it. LOL!

Hey, I'm one of those rare Dunkin' Donut fans too, but I have them maybe once a year, if that much. Krispy Kreme has kind of taken over around here, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon how you look at it).
I've been reading a lot about leptin and it's effect on hunger, fat burning, weight loss, cravings, energy, etc. It's good to have a few carbs every so often to keep your system producing enough leptin, so you don't hit a plateau and suddenly have the urge to binge, according to what I'm reading. Just some food for thought there...
Keep up the good work!
