well, I don't know about the high-tech stuph. But I do like the way my face feels after I've been taking care of it regularly. I liked the facialist's advice about using a minimum of facial-care "products". Her list is pretty much what I use, so I was happy to see it.

I've been using clinique lately - I like that they don't stick a bunch of perfumes in their products. I'm happy that Alex isn't into the "made-up" look. So, I can just take care of my skin, put on a little eyeshadow, blush and lipstick when we're going out, and stick with just some moisturizer and conditioning lipstick for daytime.

Curious what works for others...

"Acid peel" - right up there with the balance ball! I won't even go near hot wax for

those occasional granny hairs.

I use Bath and Body Works Rice cleanser and the matched moisturizer (I think we talked about this a little while ago). My makeup is all drugstore variety; on weekends, mascara, eyeliner, brow filler (my brows are sparse), and lip gloss, and for work, add blush and pressed powder. I just discovered that eyeliner is easier to put on than it used to be, so I'm having a little fun with it; actually, I'm just testing how steady my hands are.....
