Good news/not so good news

Hi, all....well...the good news...bone is healing and I don't have to have a bone stimulator. The line in the bone is not as noticeable on the x-ray. Not so good news...I am in a cast again for another 2 weeks and I have to keep using the crutches. I go back to the doc March 3rd. Again I am disappointed but it is encouraging that it is fusing.
This really puts a cramp in my style. I am stuck in again since I can't drive. I am supposed to take it easy and not exercise again. Since I did do some floor work and weights the past two weeks and things are ok, I am going to continue doing it.
We have tickets to see The Producers on Broadway March 6th. (I am very excited about that!) If foot looks ok, I will get a soft cast. If foot doesn't look completely healed, then a hard cast again. I am really hoping that isn't the case. It will be so hard to ride the LIRR, get through Penn Station and maneuver around NYC. I never noticed if there were elevators in Penn Startion. Time to check it out!
I am also supposed to go to FL to visit my sis March 10 - 17. I may have to cancel that since I am traveling alone.
Oh, my, so much to think about. So far so good with DS...we have about 7 more days to wait for the all clear.
There is my update. Can someone also tell me why I am torturing myself by watching FITtv everyday?

Hold your horses just a little while longer there, Grace, and before you know it it could be you up there on Fit TV. You don't want to rush things and set yourself back even though it's so difficult to wait. I do understand.
Best of luck to you and your son for positive outcomes. I'll keep you both in my prayers too.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Keeping your son in my prayers, still... this is also encouraging.
Wish we had FitTV to watch. That's what I call quality programming, compared to what else is out there. Our cable company is pathetic - raising rates by $2-3 annually, not providing additional service for the increase, and it goes kafritz in the least of thunderstorms. Thank you, Time-Warner. When DirectTV gets GoodLife, we'll probably make the switch from cable to satellite.
