Good morning-

This is just a little earlier than I wanted to start my day.

Happy to hear Russell came through surgery fine. He'll want lots of TLC.

I can sympathize with what DD is going through. Rob has that problem in math. He has a 95 avg. in classwork and 100 in homework, but can't seem to do well on the math tests. The fact that he has a real shrew for a teacher doesn't help, so he's keyed up before he ever walks in the door. I will be SO glad when this year is over and pray that he gets a good teacher next year. This woman apparently knows her stuff, but she's young and full of herself and apparently doesn't like Rob. She seems to have several favorites and refers to the girls as "the pretty girls" and the boys as "the ugly boys." I told him he should say what about "the good looking boys?" No really, because then he'd be in more trouble, and he gets in trouble even when he's behaving. It's a no win situation at this point.

Hope the testing goes well and you can get things straightened out soon. It was obvious when I saw her that she's a bright girl.

I'm thankful the sun is out brightly and it's warmed up since this morning. Thankful that Tim's meeting in Asheville went well and he's on his way home, so he may make it back tonight.

Thanks! You're so sweet :)

The psychologist suggested Sarah ask to be moved out of her Science class. The teacher picks on her, could (apparently care less) that Sarah's having troubles and Sarah literally is sick to her stomach every time she has to walk into that class. It just isn't right, is it? On the otherhand, I also believe that they need to learn to adjust to this type of situation since life ain't a bed or roses! There has to be a happy medium in there somewhere!

'Course we're partial to her, but we think Sarah is pretty bright, too!

Sassy

P.S. As for DH...he says he's not getting enough sympathy and I'm sure I don't need to tell you what HIS definition of sympathy is ;)

LOL! I believe every part of a man's body could be broken except one, and that one would still work!!!! Men are big babies anyway, so he'll probably play it up for all it's worth. Tim would for sure.

I feel for Sarah. She's such a sweet girl and doesn't need to go through all this. It's very frustrating with Rob too. We feel between a rock and a hard place, but Tim may have to go up and have another conference with her. It's just not right to use Rob as her scapegoat for everything. People who can't handle power should never be allowed to teach, I don't care how bright they are.

Keep us posted on how it goes. Send hugs to Sarah for me.

Rhonda
