Fantastic Sunrise Friday....

Another gorgeous sunrise this morning. I love my office first thing in the morning. Just me, the news, my computer, my coffee and you ladies :)

Hitting the pavement this morning for a quick trot to the lake and back. Already 40 degrees here at 6:45...I could wear my bikini (under my parka ;). Then off to the office. DH is still home, but he has lots of work to do. His knee is coming along nicely. We'll probably hook up for lunch today.

Reach out to someone in need today.

Happy Friday!

Hugs, Sassy :)

How timely is this marriage retreat ;)

Fortunately He has a way of making things right. I'll definitely be praying for some enlightenment for your DH! Okay...for ALL DH's!

I've been saying NO much more often lately. If we're so stressed by all that we're doing, we're not doing it well. And a stressed Sassy is a nasty Sassy!

Maybe I shouldn't point this out, but as far as the painting goes...my DH does such a horrible job painting, that I would rather do it myself (or hire out, maybe!). Doesn't help your situation, I know!

Hugs.

I'm trying to picture getting my DH to a marriage retreat.I can't even get him to go to the movies!!!!

Not sure what my workout will be today, probably a run this afternoon.I'm having lunch with one of my favorite friends today, really looking forward to it.She's had alot going on lately and is stressed.A woman who is so busy taking care of others she's burning herself out, can you imagine????

Ok, answer honestly.Am I a B*t#h???The company wants my county and my county only to do something in the chicken houses. There is no guarante it will help and some chance it could backfire. And I have to pay for it.Service guy told me about it yesterday and I voiced my concerns. His eyes just glazed over and he stopped just short of rolling his eyes.I am so tired of being presumed difficult when I'm just trying to make my farms ends meet. And I think my points were justified. This job is for the birds!!!!

And speaking of birds there is where I'm heading.Have a fantastic Friday!!!!

No, I don't think you are a b**ch! You have every right to know what you're getting into if you're paying for something like that! Men, service guys, males!!!! I'm telling you, since the majority of men don't have an eye for detail, why are they usually the ones that handle alot of legal matters? Put a couple of men together on a contract, and you have one messed up transaction (I could write a big story on this re: where I work is going thru a MAJOR contract issue with a vendor - I shudder to think how it will end!). I won't rant anymore on this, but I DO understand, Patty, and you stick to your guns - it is YOUR business, after all, not his!

Have a great one!

No, you are not a b*tch. It certainly doesn't seem equitable that they want you to do this. Stick to your guns.

By the way, I find it interesting that when a man is a b*stard, he takes it as a compliment, but b*tch is very derrogatory towards women. Maybe we need more b*tches in the world....

To heck with DH, take the retreat on your own.

Good friday morning all!

Expecting a decent day today after all. They had been callin' for snow today, but it passed us by thank goodness. I'm sick of snow and I'm ready for spring. I was perusing the seed catalogs and picking out petunias...sigh...I love petunias.

Today's workout will be dragging DH to a departmental function. We're having our annual Christmas in February party tonight at the local pizza buffet place and he's not that gung ho on the idea (as usual). Yeah, it cramps my style too as I'd rather not be there with all that pizza and pasta temptation. But they have a sweet salad bar...so wish me luck on day 3 of SBD.

Then I'm off to the store for a week's worth of provisions. Have a super weekend everyone.

Time to poke them in the eye with the tiara, stomp your Royal satin slipper, wave your Royal septor, and command: off with their heads!

Idiots! I'm so very tired of working with service people, vendors, clerks, etc., who think YOU owe THEM something. When I slammed down the phone this morning (in a royal Sassy snit myself) after AGAIN having to deal with the payroll company screwing up my direct deposit, I said a word I never use and that had DH laughing out loud from the living room. It rhymes with truckers and was not very Christian-like, nor church-secretaryish, but it felt SOOOOOOO good to say it and perfectly described those idiots who dared to take a holier-than-thou attitude and tone with me. AGAIN. Still in said snit, I fired off an e-mail to my boss (the Pastor) and told him this was ridiculous and it was time for the finance team to find another payroll company. Of course, part of my anger is that I am the one that always has to deal with this because the treasurer, who's job it really is to deal with all of this, always passes everything off to me to do and I'm getting REALLY tired of THAT, too.

Whew. Glad I got all THAT off my chest. Thanks for listening ;)

Sassy
