Fantastic Sunrise Friday....

Another gorgeous sunrise this morning. I love my office first thing in the morning. Just me, the news, my computer, my coffee and you ladies :)

Hitting the pavement this morning for a quick trot to the lake and back. Already 40 degrees here at 6:45...I could wear my bikini (under my parka ;). Then off to the office. DH is still home, but he has lots of work to do. His knee is coming along nicely. We'll probably hook up for lunch today.

Reach out to someone in need today.

Happy Friday!

Hugs, Sassy :)

Good gawsh amighty, it's Friday!

Considering there was nothing looming on my calendar for the week when I left last Friday, it filled up really quickly. It's been busy, and I'm tired and can't wait for the clock to tick on 4:45.

Workout is 45 min of cardio, after the trot through Costco for soap, paper goods, and bulk bags of nuts. And some goodies - the kids are coming for a sleepover, and my sister's b-day was Tuesday, so we need goodies for a party. That is, the kids are coming, weather permitting; I heard talk of "a mixed bag" for Saturday from the weatherpeople this morning. "Mixed bag" scares me - the bag potentially contains ice - so the sleepover could be postponed, again.

Sassy, I hope Russell continues to feel better from his surgery. Will he need physical therapy?

Patty, I don't understand that company at all. They're issuing a test procedure and you as one of their stock providers have to pay for it? Who does the service guy work for - the company or the providers; sounds like they need to be more sensitive to your needs.

Phyllis, I hope the marriage retreat brings some insights. Good luck.

Have a great day, everyone!

Morning,

Hope everyone is having a good day. Ds doesn't have school today and dh didn't have any calls this morning, so we all got to sleep in a bit.

I'm hoping to get a couple of miles in this afternoon. I'm walking ds over to his friend's house for a playdate. Also need to hit the grocery store sometime today. The one I usually shop at is in a strip mall and I refuse to go there on the weekend because it's too much of a zoo. Besides, I have better things to do! :o)

I managed to clean out my closet and drawers yesterday. Hauled off to large green garbage bags to the Women in Need store. I'm feeling pretty darn anal today though. Everything is now lined up in there according to color! Even cleaned out my costume jewelry, shoes and purses! Now I need to hit the clothes that I have stored downstairs.

Weights are on the game plan for me today and some crunches I think.

Happy Friday! I've been enjoying the sunrises when I take Rob to school each morning and the fact that it's getting lighter earlier. Spring must be on the way!

We're suppsed to have a beautiful, sunny day reaching mid to upper 70's, so I'll be getting out to get those snapdragons in the ground. I saw some pretty

you may not be a bitch, but *I* am. and proud of it. i believe that standing up for yourself and questioning things and expressing limits are hard for women to do - and we get called bitches when we do it. personally, i consider that a compliment.

I meant to post on this subject earlier, but Swiss cheese syndrome has taken over my brain. I agree with you, Anna. When the label is applied, maybe we should just start saying a proud "thank you" instead of worrying whose feelings we hurt because we stood up for ourselves. I mean this strictly in the workplace - I get no vibes like that in any other place but there. And if I'm a b*^&$, it's because there are so many b@#%^*^s in this business!

It may not be the most Christian approach, but.....
