Sassy's Super Saturday Updates...

Had a great powerwalk/jog combo workout today. Topping it off with a 2 egg omelet (only one yolk), 1/2 of a thin slice of baby swiss cheese, 1/2 cup steamed asparagus. Yummy. Washing it all down with my latte from Starbucks, compliments of DH. Going to fill up on H2O today.

DH is out of sorts and grumpy today. Instead of responding in kind (oh, how we grow!), I'm killing him (could be literally by the end of the day) with kindness. He deserves to be grumpy. He's going to be 45 this year, just had knee surgery, has gray hair (what's left of it), is back up to 230 pounds, and has a gorgeous wife who is working out regularly ;) I'm cutting him some slack today :)

I'm so ready to get back into my workouts after a two week hiatus. Anyone with me? I'm re-reading the SBD and will begin implementing it Monday a.m. and I'm dragging the family in with me.

Have a Super Saturday!

Sassy

I went outside for a minute and realized it had gotten cold, cloudy and windy!I came back in and was trying to decide about my run. Then I read this post and it inspired me to get my butt in gear. So I headed outside and did a 5 mile run, felt fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration Sassy.

Just before I headed out for my run the phone rang.It was a friend I haven't talked to in years. She's just moved back in town.It was fun catching up with her. She's getting ready to turn 50 and is married with 2 small children 4 and 7.

And when you hung up with her, you were thinking, "I'm lucky, I only have chickens...she's got a 7 year old and a 4 year old!" ;)

Glad you felt inspired. The feeling is mewtwual (as Teri Garr would say on Young Frankenstein).

Hugs :)
