I won't hit 12 classes this week--have four community meetings and events going on during class times.
Weights for me this morning and then I'll be walking over to get ds from kindergarten. He has a friend coming home with him for a playdate! Our van is in for repairs and dh has the car, so I'm really hoping that the rain holds off.
Got some major spring cleaning done on the weekend. Opened the windows and aired out the house. I started out by cleaning my nightstand and by the end of the day, our bedroom was delightful. I moved every piece of furniture, vacuumed everything thoroughly, dusted the plants, washed the knick knacks, etc., cleaned the window, washed the curtains, stripped the bed, flipped the mattress and vacuumed it. Now I just want to stay in there!!! It smells fabulous! I'll tackle the boy's room this week and dh's office (very dusty down there in the dungeon) next week!
I'm now planning how to cover the twin ottoman's that I have been gifted with. They are just plain wood boxes with lids at the moment, so I'm drawing up my plans on what to do. I can't wait to have the extra storage in the living room. I presently have a "rat's nest" next to my chair where all of my knitting stuff sits! They replace an awkward oversized footstool and an ugly black one from a chair we got rid of a long time ago.
Going back to a good strict Phase I on SB for me this week. AF is ten days late, I've got PMS and my eating the last few days has been terrible! Way to many carbs. Not to mention I'm extremely bloated. Crazy as it sounds, I'm looking forward to her arrival so that I can get my body back on track! AF was a week late last month, so I think it must be perimenopause.
Patty thinking of you and your sister today. Hope everything goes well.
Donna, yes! Four year old boys are great at pushing the limits. In fact, both of my boys are very good at it (one's 5 1/2 and one is 3 tomorrow)! As exasperating as it can be, it's reassuring to know that it's a "good" thing developmentally!
Rhonda, enjoy your meeting/luncheon today.
Michele, interesting about your son's athlete's foot. My doctor kept telling my that my son had athlete's foot, but it wouldn't go away. He gave him all sorts of stuff for it that didn't work. I thought that it might have been eczema and it turns out I was right!!!
Have a great day ladies.

Glad you got to have the kids over (and send them back home ;-). Helping do their rooms sounds like so much fun. Be sure to take before and after pictures to share with us. I love those! Each color scheme and theme sounds so cute.
I imagine some of your flowering bulbs up that way will be springing up pretty soon, won't they? We can't grow those down here unless we dig them up and refrigerate them over the winter -- too much work for me, especially since bulbs multiply! I do miss daffodils and irises like we had when I was little. Also, miss the tulips, but we do have a lot of other neat things down here that we couldn't grow in MD, so it all works out. My tulip tree has been glorious, but is starting to get the first few chartreuse baby leaves, so I know the blossoms won't last a whole lot longer.
I am lover the daylight starting earlier. Enjoy your taste of spring!

Time invested in improving ourselves cuts down on time disapproving of others.
