So here it is!

Good morning workout divas! I like that word...divas...

What's on tap for you today? Workout? Agenda? 15-minute project?

I'm heading to Jazzercise after work. And my project today is to get my organizer organized...LoL.

Have a goo one!

I am dragging today! Didn't sleep a wink last night. Woke up wide awake at 2:53. Finally fell back asleep when DH left at 4:30. Jolted awake when the alarm radio turned OFF (after being on an hour). Ugh. My entire day is going to go badly now!

DD missed the bus (told you so, was my comment). So now my plans are goofed up and I have to drive her to school, but she'll be tardy and I refuse to write a note. Gave her plenty of notice to get up and she didn't...they need to learn these lessons, I think. Hopefully, the rain will not have moved in by the time I get back and I can head out for my power walk to the lake and back. If it has moved in, I'm just surly enough this morning to walk anyway!

I'll check in later, after I have an attitude adjustment!

I was pretty grumpy this morning too. Here I went through the trouble of packing everything nicely for Alex so he'd have a very light suitcase with wheels and one small bag to carry - for which he *did* express appreciation... But, then after I got up at 0dark30 to make him fresh-squeezed orange juice (if you don't have a juicer, GET ONE - best 16 bucks we ever spent!) and coffee before he went out to the taxi to get his flight to Sweden for 5 days (see how sweet and helpful I am?) then I went back to bed - after all that, I get woken up by a call from him - "where's my bancomat card?"

Ugh.

I got money out yesterday for him at the bancomat. Made a special trip to get that and some maalox at the pharmacy. Gave him the money, packed the maalox, forgot to give him back his flippin' bancomat card. Never mind he's got enough money for 4 people for 5 days in sweden *and* a perfectly good credit-card - the man is *SUCH* a spendthrift that now he feels constrained by not having his d*** card that I didn't give back. UGH!

So, I was *REALLY* cranky when the poor cleaning woman (yes - he has a cleaning woman. It's the only reason he's not piled hipdeep in junk!) arrived this morning at 9am. I made some tea and just sat and read email and unwound... I'm feeling mellow now, after a good lunch (curried lentil rollup and a wonderful darjeeling tea). I'm almost thinking of going down for a nap.

*THEN* I'll think about working out... or maybe just do that hot facial I was promising myself... ;-) HMMM - or maybe I can nap while the facial works! What a concept!

Good morning, divas!

Divas - I'll buy that!

Workout tonight will be a late cardio session on the treadmill - preceded by dinner with one of my friends. We've only planned and postponed about 5 times since mid-January, and since there's finally no threat of ice or snow, we're able to stick to the plan. I've already decided on a cup of soup followed by a Caesar salad with chicken or salmon, easy on the dressing. I'm dying for a cup of clam chowder, but I can't have it, so I've got to get over it.

15-minute task? Nothing. Not that I'm not doing one, I don't have one to do. After the kids left Sunday, I went on a whirlwind of cleaning and rearranging (working on momentum, not on real energy) and everything's in its place for a change.

I refuse to have an organizer - a daytimer or a PDA. Organizing THAT would end up being my 15-task every day.

Have a googoo day, everyone!

Here it is indeed!!!I wondered what it was :)

I have the day off today!!No chicken stuff for me.No real plans either which I'm loving. I

know I'll go see my sister at some point, I'll go for a run and do some weights also.Today is a new day that I am so ready for.Time to recommit to fitness and especially eating right.Time to think of it in a positive light not think of what I can't eat.Focus on how great I feel when I do eat right and when getting into my jeans is not an olympic style sport!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well and has GOO DAY!!!

Goo Day everyone!

I was so disappointed with myself yesterday, that I'm making up for it today. I actually managed to get my UB weights and crunches in this morning. Had a small omelet with spinach, parmesan and some diced ham for breaky, with a little glass of V-8 juice. And, I only had one cup of coffee this morning! Usually it's two or three. I'm halfway through my first litre of water and planning on filling it up again when I'm done. Lunch will be salad with curried tuna.

It's Max's 3rd birthday today, so grandpa is cooking prime rib and of course there will be cake after dinner. He has requested chocolate on chocolate. I will have a couple of bites (because it is supposed to be bad luck if you don't have a bite of someone's birthday cake). ;O)

Busy day here today, I've got all kinds of errands to do and of course dh booked the van for repairs!!!! So, we are both trying to use one vehicle. I head out in between his calls! It's bordering on ridiculous. Ah well, it will all get done in the end. As long as I can get Max's gift and cake for today, the rest can wait!

Going to put in 20 minutes on the Stairmaster this morning. If I get a walk in later, I'll consider it a bonus. I've decided that I'm not good at blocking this large sections of workout time! I'm far more successful if I break it into smaller implements. At least I have a chance of getting *something* done. I think that has been my downfall. I see the workout as such a huge task and I can't find "enough" time to fit the whole thing in, so I don't do it! If I feel up to it, I may do another set of UB weights and crunches this evening. Maybe while watching the hockey game!!

Have a great day ladies!!!

Happy birthday to cute little Max! Yummy to his choice of cakes! I didn't know about the bite of cake preventing bad luck. Now I have an excuse! Yay!

I know what you mean on the big chunks of time with workouts! Very good idea to break it up - I do that sometimes, too. Especially with weights.

Have a great time with Max and the family, Shar.
