Good Morning!

A beautiful Wednesday morning in Northern Virginia. Finally got some rest last night. Feel pretty good this morning. Should get a great workout in. But I think I'm going to take a break. I need to catch up on some things around the house and DD has an eye exam at 10:00. Then I think we'll pick up a bite to eat before I take her back to school. I'll be spending the rest of the afternoon and evening at church. I have been so tired each afternoon and evening that I need to catch up on my purpose driven life reading.

Have a great day, everyone!

Sassy

Good morning! Earlier in the week I tried to get tickets to "The Passion of the Christ" for Friday, but the show I wanted was already sold out. They were going to add two more around 7 PM each night. I went ahead and got them for Sat. It'll be Tim's birthday, so I was sure we'd go out to dinner and a movie.

I did some catching up on my Purpose Driven Life posting and caught up with my reading for today. I'm making progress in my other books and some magazines not to mention trying to keep up with all the political stuff on the Internet. I wrote a letter to the editor first thing yesterday morning about the heat the Education Secretary was getting for an off the cuff remark and sent an email to O'Reilly about "The Passion" and Andy Rooney last night. I was a busy little bee at the computer yesterday.

Today, a friend is treating 5 others of us to lunch at the yacht club as a little birthday party for the pres. of the RWCDF. It's a great place for lunch and should be a fun group, so I'm looking forward to that. I got her a rhinestone "W" pin and put it in a neat fabric, cylindrical shape,

Good morning! We're cool and cloudy and misty out this morning but at least I didn't have to scrape my windows. Getting really tired of that business. We have ROBINS everywhere! A sure sign of spring in this neck of the woods. I know you have them year around in CO, but not here. I love it! Big, fat Robins.

I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to see the movie. I'm not big on theaters and crowds and this is likely to be very crowded. I'm sure it will be on video sooner or later, but I'm also sure the impact will be lessened on the small screen. I dunno yet.

Today is a rest day I think. Had a guest instructor last night at Jazzercise. She's fairly new and I think she's still a little apprehensive about being front of everyone. She keeps losing her place. But she's very sweet and lots of fun. Anyway, tonight I 'rest' and get some long needed housework done. The dog hair dust bunnies are taking over in the bedroom. Blech.

So tonight I get out my whip and my chair and evict the little critters. Hope your day is smashing!

Good morning everyone. It's rainy here and I decided this would be my rest day. Nothing on agenda except work and work! Have to make a bank trip and maybe a grocery store trip somewhere in between.

I'm planning to see "The Passion" Saturday.

Have a great day all!

A chaotic day here today.Have work to do in CL but have to wait til others get there stuff done.A friend called last night and told me a test she had done was iffy.Planning on going with her to get follow up test done. And need to go up and see my sister at some point.Going to try to hit treadmill early and then get everything else done.Picked up a new body scrub yesterday so that will be my reward for getting a good workout in.

15 min project really needs to be cleaning the bathroom.

24 days til Spring :)

Good morning, all!

It's a bit chilly here this morning, but Spring is definitely coming, and it'll get warmer as the week progresses. I saw temps forecast for the weekend in the low 50s along with clear skies. A walk outdoors instead of on the treadmill is also in my forecast for the weekend.

Workout tonight is cardio and weights. I hate Wednesday night tv, but we've taped plenty of stuff over the last couple of nights to keep me company.

No workout last night - except for my jaws, eating dinner and talking with my friend.

Susan/bnl - how are things on Long Island? Miss you here. Margie - how's Texas? Miss you here, too! And Deb/dmm - hope your getting some good feedback on your job search. Drop in and let us know how you're doing.....

Have a great day, everyone!

When I moved to this area in the early 70's and it was much more rural, sometimes in January I could count over 100 robins at a time in

Those silly little birds really warm my heart and life my spirits. Guess it's just because I know spring is right around the corner when they show up. A couple years ago we had literally hundreds of them on the trees at work. There are some Hawthorne trees in the courtyard and they were LOADED with berries. It was pretty amazing to see them all flocking together like that. In the trees, on the ground, eating berries fighting over berries...it was way cool. I've never seen that type of behavior with Robins as I don't think they really flock like blackbirds and such.

Good morning,

Planning on hitting the stairclimber for 20 minutes this morning. UB is a little tender from my weight session yesterday! It's a "good thing"!

My eating was pretty good yesterday and the chocolate cake was delicious!

Have a girlfriend and her little guy coming over for lunch and a playdate this afternoon. Also have to make an appointment to get my hair cut tonight. We want to get our passports done, which means photos (yuck!) and I'm in desperate need of sprucing up! I'm hoping it might inspire me to keep up with my health and fitness too!

We are heading over to Vancouver on Friday night. Dh's company has Canucks season tickets and so we are taking in the St. Louis game on Saturday night. We'll stay at dh's cousin's condo and they will watch the boy's for us. Sunday we are doing touristy stuff over there and hopefully we'll get some shopping in!

That's my day. Have to get a move on and get this place tidied up before company arrives!

Have a good one!

Shar
